This is a Ruth deck paired with the "Bounce Defense" that Gabe posted a while back. In a handful of games, the deck has done pretty well. I have yet to be able to use the bounce cards on the opponent, as they never keep enough heroes down in the few games I have played with it, but it helps for bouncing your own as needed.

This deck is paired with a martyr package to use as an early rescue while you set up your devastating Ruth band using Salmon. I use Angel from the Sun to get a D2 exchanging to Justin Martyr grabbing Blood of the Lamb and backing him up with Overcome and all of the other Ruth/white enhancements that he can play effectively. When you use Blood of the Lamb it's a D3 and paly next so using that to go into an Overcome! to take out a single blocker is effective. Fifth Seal is in here to have in the discard pile so JM can keep recurring Blood of the Lamb. So while you are doing that, you are gathering the resources for your Ruth offense to take hold. And with You Will Remain, you hit one solid rescue and if needed, use You Will Remain to bring in the other to extend the battle or start a new one. These pair pretty well together while the defense does enough to make things difficult on your opponent. Sneaking a Confusion or Flying Scroll to hit 2 of your opponent's cards is always nice. Kinsmen's Agreement is pretty much always used as an EE to back up one of those plays. The offense has plenty of other negates.

Whom and how do you use as meek guys to make Salmon's band most effective? (Also toying around with Ruth in Rotation and LoC but did not yet find out a consistent repeatable way to make him rolling the bands over and over again.)

Ruth is terribly dependent on bouncing to create meek heroes when you want them.

I also fail to see why you don't run Word of their testimony in reserve. Card is incredible

I will say this deck was thrown together because I wanted to test Gabe’s bounce defense and I had been wanting to test Ruth with the martyr package as I expected JM to be a beast in rotation. I have played a handful of games with this but haven’t changed a single card from those games as I’m usually rushing to finish those games at the tail end of my work day. So with that in mind, this deck has a ton of issues that could be cleaned up and improved.

Word of their testimony would be a solid add in most cases, so that probably belongs. Also, preparing to return not being here is a huge miss. And the evil bounce enhancements don’t work with Threshing Floor. So, there is definitely room to tweak and improve this deck with information from those previous games that I’ve played. Just wanted to share it and knowing there is room to improve with how well the deck did shows it has some strong potential.

Generally Ruth, David and sometimes Rahab or Boaz are meek. Salmon can use David as meek to get an extra band and band to rahab to bounce David and band to him ability side for another search. Salmon also grabs Elimelech from reserve for a D3 and adds another Ruth hero. Elders recurs Your God Will Be My God from discard if needed. Otherwise, Obed is a solid option for another potential D3.

I’ve thought about trying to fit Faith of Sam in for more speed and ability to blend the two rescues but only being playable on JM means there’s probably better options. Marriage covenant and Not Alone are probably the best options. But if you were able to blend the Martyr package into the Ruth offense you could gain massive advantage. But I really enjoy the martyr stuff and it’s reliability while you gather enough resources to make your Ruth offense hit hard.

I have Distressing People splashed in my Ruth/Moabites LoC only deck to go along with Famine in the Land.  Not sure if that's a good option for Rotation unless you're really focusing on hand discard.
May you prosper greatly!

Distressing People is legit, especially in chump/gadget defenses like this.
