I'm terrible with making "speed" decks, but this is what I came up with from the pointers I got in my NT Females thread.

Cards in Deck: 50
Lost Souls: 8
  1st round*
  Female-only*
  NT-only*
  Revealer
  Shuffler*
  Wanderer*
  2-liner
  Hopper*

Dominants: 8
  AotL*
  GoYS*
  SoG*
  NJ*

  Burial*
  CM*
  DoN*
  FA*

Sites: 1
  The Ends of the Earth*

Fortresses: 1
  TGT

Artifacts: 5
  Burial Shroud*
  Unholy Writ*
  Holy of Holies*
  Gifts of the Magi*
  Holy Grail

Heroes: 11
  Lydia*
  Hur*
  Moses*
  ET*
  John (H Deck)*
  Susanna*
  The Woman at the Well*
  Salome
  Mary, the Mother of James
  Elijah*
  FSP

Hero Enhancements: 11
  Transfiguration*
  Reach*
  Plague of Frogs*
  Pentecost
  First Fruits*
  Love at First Sight*
  Spirit as a Dove*
  AoCP*
  Ambush the City*
  Words
  He is Risen

Evil Characters: 5
  Sabbath Breaker*
  Uzzah*
  TAS*
  Trembling Demon*
  King of Tyrus

I'm not a speed player, but I know that if you are going to use Hur and want to make a speed deck, put in Gifts of the Magi.  It allows you to draw 7 new cards too!

This looks like a TGT offense without The Garden Tomb.

I don't see anyone for King Amaziah to CTB.  Benaiah is somewhat out of place here too.  Drop them and add Salome and Mary, the Mother of James.

I don't see any AoCp, but you're playing purple and virually no defense.  That's one of the first things you'll want to remedy. ;)

Lost Coin found and Moses and the Elders seem like overkill.  Cut those to add AocP and TGT.

Change Feast of Trumpets to First Fruits, since you have lots of white, no teal and very little green now.

The Magi is nice because he can grab a few of your Artifacts but John is probably better if you make the above changes.

Ashera Pole doesn't do anything at all for you other than possibly intimidate your opponent.  Cut it to drop your deck to 51.

Hormah doesn't do much in this deck.  Drop that and you're at 50.

I'd consider adding a Love at First Sight. with gifts up it'll let you draw 8.

There's no TGT because I don't currently have any TGT heroes in here.

I don't see anyone for King Amaziah to CTB.  Benaiah is somewhat out of place here too.  Drop them and add Salome and Mary, the Mother of James.
Changed.

AoC is at the bottom of the hero enhancement list.....

I'll cut one for TGT and the other for Love at First Sight.

Makes sense. Changed.

Swapped.

Ashera Pole doesn't do anything at all for you other than possibly intimidate your opponent.  Cut it to drop your deck to 51.
Alrighty.

Hormah doesn't do much in this deck.  Drop that and you're at 50.
Alrighty again.

You could have saved us a lot of work if you didn't insist on not using TGT, only to use TGT.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I was hoping to not have to use TGT, but all the opinions otherwise told me it just wouldn't work as well as I wanted without it.

The offense you originally posted will work.  It will just work better with TGT.  Using TGT doesn't make your deck a "TGT deck".  In fact, I've found the best use of TGT is as a supplement to an offense that doesn't rely on it.  It's just another powerful path to victory that works sometimes.

If you want to build a speed deck without TGT, remove the some of the standard TGT cards and add a large captain band.  Take a look at the Nationals 2007 T1-2P first place deck for an example.

*edit*

I think the present decklist is looking really good, btw.

Any other changes you think need to be made? Otherwise I'll start playtesting on RTS (want to make sure how/if it works before I commit to acquiring all the cards).

The only things I'd change now come down to personal preference and play style.  They aren't obvious changes and I know there are other people that would give the exact opposite advice.  You've got the right idea.  It's time to start playtesting to see what works for you and what doesn't work as well as you thought it would.  Give it at least 5-10 games before you start cutting cards and changing stuff.  After that, if you find that there are cards or combos that just don't seem to work the way you though they would, take them out to try something else.

I've played 2 games with this deck so far, and the first thing I've noticed is that, for being an "abuse Lydia/FSP" deck, I haven't even actually used FSP for a single battle yet :P

The second thing was that I had an idea to replace Harvest Time with The Woman at the Well. Not only is she another female NT hero for cards that count them, but she can also set up fodder for Holy Grail (since most people keep their defense in their hand until blocking with it). What say ye to this?

If you can find room for Ambush the City as well, then WatW would be a great add. She still might be nice, but I think WatW + AtC is one of the best gold splash combos there is.

I was thinking of taking out Torment anyway, so I could replace that with Ambush. In the 2 games I've played so far, I haven't drawn Torment at a time when I could use it on any of my evil characters to any effect anyway (either I didn't have it when I could use it or they'd kill me in a way I couldn't use Torment (via dominant or non-discard removal) when I did have it).

Should I have WoP in this deck? I saw in another thread the danger of other people banding to my TGT women and using the ignore against me, and while I doubt I'll have much trouble with that using this deck in real life (nobody plays with any kind of tier decks at the tourneys I go to) I do also use this deck online.

If I should put it in, what could I take out for it?

:bump:

I honestly don't think I'll be able to acquire a FSP to use in this deck as I'm a poor college student and the best offer I've gotten is not really within my price range, especially since I also still need to get a KoT.

Is s/he necessary for this deck, or can I replace him/her with something/someone else?
