...because Luke was a Greek...I think. :-\ Anyway, here's the deck; it's currently 63 cards, but I think the strategy would be more solid if it were 56, so I would appreciate cut-back advice:

Battle Prayer
Convincing Miracle
Ehud's Dagger
Furnace of God's Wrath
Repentance and Restitution

The Stars
Angel of the Harvest
Captain of the Host
Gabriel
Strong Angel
Protection of Angels
Three Angels
Defense (Black/Gray(/Orange))
Antiochus IV Epiphanes
The Winged Leopard
Greek Philosophers
Greek Scholars
King Amon
Lot's Wife
Manasseh
The Twelve-Fingered Giant
Abomination of Desolation
Foolish Advice
Hunger
Joseph in Prison
Net
Pride of Simon
Wrath of Satan
Lying Spirit
Syrian Archer
Balaam's Disobedience
Gold Shield
Artifacts/Curses
Chariot of Fire

This deck started out with the concept of using ABom and some Luke Heroes to make my opponent draw cards for some selective territory sniping. Then I found out about the combo of placing Gold Shield on Syrian Archer and banding him to Antiochus for a practically unstoppable kill, and figured, Hey, s'long as I'm using Black for my Greeks, why not throw in Amon & Manasseh to recur Gold Shield? So I kept adding cards, and here I am. I was thinking of putting in Deborah with Judge's Seat for more sniping as well, but I would like to reduce the cards a bit first. So waddaya say, can ya' help me out? ;D

You might consider adding Elizabeth, since she is a Luke hero and can't be captured, although I don't know how much capture you see around there. We see capture a LOT around here.
You COULD trim out a OT hero or two and use Golden Calf to mess with your opponent's OT heroes.
You might also trim out a couple non-greek ECs and add in another greek. You can't get A-bom out if you don't have a greek.

Oh, right, I forgot about Philosophers. :P Hmm...what should I replace?
-
You might consider Sword Against Sword to create a side battle so you can play your Abom easier.
I would also use The Strong Angel (wa) instead of Moses you could take advantage of Bryon's suggestion of using Golden Calf.
I'd take out Prince of Greece to add Philosophers.

Okay, so...
Out:
Moses
Prince of Greece
Covenant with Moses
In:
Sword Against Sword
Strong Angel
Greek Philosophers
?

Those changes look good to me. ;)
Maybe take out Besieged or Unholy Writ to add Golden Calf?
-
But...I'm really gonna miss all those things I took out. :'( Also, what should I do to make room for GCow?
-
I wouldn't go labeling any of those more powerful than the others. GCow and CoM do almost exactly the same thing, just with different limits.
-
@Bryon... is this deck missing some cards... it seems very similar... but something seems to be missing. ;)
-
LOL. Yeah, I can think of 5 certain adds come this summer. :)
-
Argh! Now you make me wish I had ditched St. Augustine and come to the last tournament! ;)
-
What are you guys talking about?

What are you guys talking about?
The new set that most of us know nothing about. ;)

What set ???

Deck Updated (forgot to do this earlier)
I still would like to reduce this deck to 56 if possible.

:bump: I would still like to get this to 56 if possible....Unless you think it's good enough already. ;D
