Winning tournaments isn't indicative of good decks per se

Winning a small local may not necessarily indicate a good deck, but winning a State tournament with several current National Champions in the field would point towards a very good player with a very good deck.

jmhartz's assertion that it's a staple in TGT decks is simply not true.
Saying "staple" is going too far, IMO, but it can definitely end up one of the seven.

I will admit that I haven't played online since December.  When I last faced/played TGT decks, they ran Grapes as additional EC destruction.

I allways they were made to counter some of the red non-banding cards. The Old Jepthah, and the ctb ones that are annoying to beat.
