Angels are pretty sturdy.
I like the disciples deck, but I worry about the lack of firepower beyond My Lord and my God and Authority of Christ. My offensive enhancement choices were:My Lord and My GodAuthority of Christ PromoAuthority of PeterPassover HymnPentecostReach of desperationA New Covenant I am worried about the lack of firepower on offense. There does not seem to be many reliable enhancements beyond AOC and My Lord and my God. Are there enough battle-winners?
Philistines run good with disciples?

Are there enough battle-winners?You don't need the fire power from Enhancments, Thad plus John and Peter with TGT should be enough if your fast enough.
The best "Sturdy deck I believe is Genesis Offense, and than hand control defence, it won nationals.http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/national-tournament-winners/2013-t1-2p-1st-place-deck/They can be really good, but it takes a lot of high end cards like Michal, and some rarer enhancments to actually be extreemly competitive, with his 65% ratio he wanted.

Magicians or Phillistines I have seen most run with Disciples, though I have never actually done it.
But then you use Razor and Forrest Fire and you are good. And if you are playing Isaiah, there is a good chance that you have ASA.
What color defenses are considered fast?
Also, AotL and Grapes are standard in any deck that has TGT.
Quote from: jmhartz on May 26, 2014, 12:50:18 AMAlso, AotL and Grapes are standard in any deck that has TGT. I'm not aware of any top player using Grapes in any deck right now. My current deck is Disciples with a heavy emphasis on TGT, and it's simply not worth it to me. There are better ways to thin out evil characters without using up those incredibly valuable dominant slots.
I play a Judges/Canaanites deck, and Grapes is a free block or a free rescue attempt. I use Lot's wife to band to an opponants evil character, and use Grapes, or I use it when my angel with the secret name is in battle, and he has Wheel within a wheel on him, it is practically a free attempt, unless they have a protected evil character in battle. I would use it with any deck that has a really good banding evil character, or any deck that uses Wheel within a Wheel.

I'm not saying Grapes is a bad dominant, but for most people I talk to, it's simply not going to end up one of the seven. jmhartz's assertion that it's a staple in TGT decks is simply not true.
