Dug this deck out of the archives, as Redoubter pointed out I don't currently have anything to trigger Proud Pharisee, I think this version is a hodgepodge of various ideas over the course of building the deck. Thoughts/suggestions would be welcome, if I make it to Nats this will likely be the deck I use for 2P.

Cards in Deck: 51
Lost Souls: 8
  Exchanger
  NT only
  CBP
  Revealer
  Female only
  Resurrection (Psalm 30:3)
  TEC Soul (Acts 16:22)

  Hopper

Dominants: 7
  Mayhem
  SoG (I)
  NJ
  AotL
  Grapes
  DoN
  CM

Sites: 1
  Dragon Raid (P)

Artifacts: 3
  Unholy Writ
  Golden Cherubim
  Four-Drachma Coin

Heroes: 10
  Stephen
  Peter (clay)
  Barnabas
  Cornelius
  Aquila
  Priscilla
  Silas
  Barsabbas
  Anna
  Simeon (Di)

Good Enhancements: 9
  Deception Exposed
  Peter's Sermon
  Spiritual Warfare
  Bravery of Priscilla
  Baptism of Jesus
  Two Bears
  Provisions
  Elymas Struck Blind
  Preaching in the Synagogue

DAEs: 1
  Gamaliel's Speech

Evil Characters: 8
  Sabbath Breaker
  Messenger of Satan (TEC)
  The Sanhedrin
  Emperor Vitellius
  Foreign Wives
  Proud Pharisee
  Scribe
  Uzzah

Evil Enhancements: 4

For a light gray defense like this you really need to be running a fast offense or you are gonna be blitzkrieg-ed  harder than Poland by meta offenses.  If you need anther pharisee though I'd go with The Sanhedrin. Offense looks solid though I always play Secundas in Clay offenses. Other than that  artifacts and fortresses look good but I am surprised at the lack of CBP lost soul you never know when you need scattered or night raid to work in a pinch.

With the prevalence of abomb, forced draw is huge and using gifts will only help your opponent. I'd either cut it or switch it for Golden Cheribum.

Also the defense is built as a speed defense but is missing a couple pieces.  I am not sure you need the scribe recur if your committed to speed.

Perhaps scribe and night raid out for entrapping and pretension?
I would also consider cutting Vain Philosophy for DoN because CWD crushes your offense and defense.

I would also probably just cut
Baptism of Jesus
Silas
Bravery of Priscilla
Tibbers
Deception exposed

Possible cut
Obadiahs caves- if you need protection from capture anna can give you that. I like caves though and can see keeping it.

I think this would put you at 51 and make you more efficient

Just my thoughts

If you have a better suggestion for the defense I'm all ears, I don't have my heart set on the gray. Any thoughts on who to swap out for Secundus? I also swapped the 1st round protect soul out for the CBP soul, it was a remnant from when this was an MP deck and the CBP is far more useful.

I'll swap it for Cherubim.

Again, I'm not sold on the defense so if there's something that would work better with this offense I'm open to changing it.

I can try swapping in DoN.

Baptism and Deception are good battle winners, though, but I'll consider dropping to 50/51.

I would prefer to keep Caves but I can also see the case for removing it.

Thanks for the thoughts!

So my time off request got approved at work, assuming I can figure out transportation I should be at Nats!

As such, I want to get this deck finalized.

Any further suggestions from anyone on how to improve this? Do others think I should reduce this to a 50-ish size instead of 56?

If I were to play this style of deck I would definitely cut it down to 50. It feels like you're running too many support cards (Fortresses and Artifacts). That's a place to start. Cards like Obi's Caves and HT are good for slower, more controlling decks, but your offense heavy (with not a lot of search/draw mind you) and defense-lite. That's not really a model for control.

You're missing one of the best support cards in the game - Dragon Raid (P). I'd call all 3 Fortresses, add DR and cut down to 2-3 Artifacts. That's a good start toward getting this to 50.

Cornelius > Luke since you already have Peter.

With FW and 2 other black characters on defense I'd be tempted to find a way to fit Stone of Thebez in there.

I don't actually own any Dragon Raids, haven't been to any tournaments except the T2-only since it released and didn't win any categories there, lol.

I'll swap Cornelius in for Luke.

I'll have to go over the deck to see if I can find a spot for Stone (and see about reducing it to 50). I ended up going with other decks for Nationals so I don't think I'll actually be using this one, but I'm gonna keep it around as a possible deck for fun (I do love my prophets :D).

Thanks for the suggestions Gabe! Really helpful. :)

If you need to borrow a DRp for Nats, LMK.

With how light the defense is in the deck it almost seems more like a MP deck than a 2P deck. Would it be better for that format or is it not speedy enough for MP?

If it's a better theme for 2P is there a way I could spruce up the defense? Right now I just don't see it making many blocks unless I can consistently recur stuff with Scribe.

I cut the forts and added Dragon Raid per Gabe's suggestion. I also dropped Lampstand (since I don't have HT to hold it anymore) and Hidden Treasures (though I might swap that back in for Writ). That puts the deck down to 52, not sure what else to take out to get it to 50.

Drop Generous Giving (weakest HE) and Uzzah (not as many Artifacts and 2 discard itself to use).

If this was fast enough I think you could be fine for T1-MP.

I disagree with dropping Uzzah. All 3 of your artifacts are easily countered so Uzzah gives you a way to keep them from being dead cards. Uzzah can also play Scattered so that gives you a bit of versatility with him.

I have always been considered the difference between 51 and 50 to be negligible.

I still say drop scribe. This deck needs to win fast, you are rarely if ever actually going to need the recur.  You either win before it matters or you lose before it matters.

Would dropping Scribe to be at 50 really speed the deck up that much?

Well it's one card faster and more importantly keeps you from drawing scribe who really doesn't do a lot for you IMO.

Except recur all 4 of his EEs and provide infinite blocks when combined with Proud Pharisee. ::)

Again I don't see this deck making it to end game.  There isn't enough defense in it for it to be a end game type of deck. The proud needs another Pharisee in play to go infinte. This is just my opinion though and considering I won nats with Gabe's deck maybe u should listen to him. :-)

Thanks for the thoughts guys, I really appreciate it! I think I'll keep Scribe in for now.

Like I said before I'm not sure if I'll end up actually taking this deck to Nats or not so perhaps I'll be able to spruce it up with TPC cards and play it next season if nothing else.
