Wages

reserve:
Elisha
Elijah
Suffering servant

tested by fire
God's mercy/Jonah's anger
DoU
Regrets
uzzah
FW

Some cool combos in this:
Isaiah+ends to get the enhancement right a way, also ends can get back new cov Jeremiah right away, even in same battle if needed
potter and the clay+isaiah/jeremiah/Ezekiel to make them low numbers and guarantee inish
jeremiah+spirit of Elijah to convert effectively CBN since they have to toss
Nebby+swift horses to play a kill card effectively CBN because they have to toss
tons of capture works well with valley of dry bones, and Ezekiel can recur it if you don't add to battle
Jeremaih +Jonah/Habakkuk/Malachi triggers both sides of Zechariah's ability
Elijah+FA (CoW) for that guaranteed rescue
Bab soothsayers can name SoG for the restrict with no harm to me, since I don't use it

In testing, seems to have problems with non human EC's and could use another negate probably (maybe scapegoat?).  Also have basically no drawing, but sooo much search so I think its ok.  Could use a different hero other than Malachi.  Not sure If I should have Elijah in deck, if Widow of Zaph is worth it.  maybe put new cov in reserve since I have 3 star cards that can get it out, but its so good I don't want to rely on star cards to get it

Caves seems unneeded with Valley. I would rather have His Name in Reserve and have Suffering Servant in deck to maximize the Star ability. And you will for sure want Elijah in deck- for what you have I would swap him and Malachi. I'm convinced he's green's best Hero (apart from the busted Sam, of course).

LS: 7 of em, take your pick

Considering you don't seem to be prioritizing getting off to a consistent early start, I would lean more to NT souls for this particular build.
If you were to go on a trip... where would you like to go?

With all the capture out in the meta right now, I dont really see having both caves and valley as a problem, especially since valley can also just resurrect heroes, and caves actually stops my heroes from losing the battle.  I can see swapping His Name a suffering servant, but I like Isaiah having access to a negate in reserve.  As for Elijah, I've had him in deck before, but as soon as I draw him, widow of zaph becomes a wasted card and I cant access tested by fire anymore.  If he was going to deck, I would pull window of zaph for Elijah and get rid of tested by fire and put 2 more Isaiah cards in reserve

How does Elijah+FA (CoW) guarantee a rescue? Can somebody explain this combo to me.

You can use Falling Away to convert one of the opponent's Heroes to an EC in a brigade they (likely) don't have enhancements for and then use Elijah's choose the blocker ability to choose that character to block.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

This can even allow you to play a powerful GE like Two Bears that is essentially CBI, except for 3 Woes and the Gam's Speech clones.

This combo is especially good with Ehud and Shibboleth   ;)

I'd be interested to see a CtB deck that utilizes faith of jephthah and Idols of canaan, along with falling away, obviously.
ehud/Shibboleth would fit nicely in there too.  :rollin:
