"Clay" TGT Deck

Hey, this is my first post! I started playing redemption with the chaps here at Christian Heritage School in CT about a year ago. This is the latest version of the first deck I ever built. My first tournament was in December, and I became obsessed with clay brigade. I then built this deck.

56 cards
7 LS

Dominants
SOG
AOTL
CM
NJ
VP
Destruction of Nuhushtan
FA

Heroes
Peter
Timon
Ananias of Damascus
Thomas
Liberating Angel
Angelic Visitor
Reassuring Angel

EC's
Terrifying Beast
Emp Vitellius
Emp Nero
Emp Tiberrius
Emp Galba
Priests of Zeus
Saul/Paul

Arts
Chariots of Fire
3 Nails
RBD
Unknown Nation
Confusioun of Mind

Good Enhancements
Bravery of Pricilla
Elymas Struck Blind
Miracle at the Gate
Speak with Power
Gamaliels Speech
Commitment of Paul
Stand Firm
Deception Exposed

Evil Enhancements
Coliseum Lions
Crucify Him
Balaams disobedience
Begging for Grain
Naamans Chariots and horses
Night raid
Israel pays Tribute
Expelling the Jews
Bow and Arrow
Lying unto God
Fortresses
The Garden Tomb
Raiders Camp
Rome
J Tower
Wall of Protection

I have found this deck is pretty versatile. I use it primarily for Multiplayer at this point, and between Raiders camp, TGT, and three nails I fare pretty well. I try to use Reasureing Angel to give Thomas clay brigade, giving me him and Paul as CBN. Then I have Peter to heal Paul and get the occasional TGT walkin. The emperors are pretty self-explanatory.
What do you all think? I could probably cut it down, but I get sentimental.

Hey Justinias, welcome to the boards!  :D

I like the deck concept! At first glance though, 10 evil enhancements for 7 evil characters seems out of proportion - usually people keep a 1:1 ratio, or more characters than enhancements, to avoid hand clog. Have you considered cutting down some evil enhancements?

I would have more than one Garden Tomb Hero. And use some form of territory destruction, you don't even have Holy Grail.

I believe the Clay TGT concept is called the "Muddy Garden" isn't it?  I'm interested to see how it rolls.

I would have more than one Garden Tomb Hero. And use some form of territory destruction, you don't even have Holy Grail.

Really agree with the second part.  You need LOTS of ways to chip away at the evil portion of your opponent's deck so you can walk through.  Grail and I Am Holy are critical IMO.

For the first part, if you have LOTS of ways to get a Peter out (he has a couple), I don't think it's too bad.  I might add Messengers of Joppa (and Tabitha and Widows of Joppa, to throw away with IaH and bring back with Messengers), since they can do some fun things and get a Peter for you.

But, I'd take out Thomas (maybe I'm missing why he is in there) for John, for sure.

I would cut:

Jerusalem Tower -- it's a nice card, but you would be better off with Herod's Temple, especially in Multi-player where you could face multiple Christian Martyrs

Raider's Camp -- you only have 1 capture card, not worth having Raider's Camp

Bow and Arrow -- Heavy Taxes would fit so much better with your defense.

Lying Unto God -- You already have DoN and you would be better off with another Hero or Evil Character.

Israel Pays Tribute -- Crucify Him and Begging for Grain give you plenty of negate power.

Here's some options for replacing the three I didn't already mention a card for:
Holy Grail--great with Garden Tomb, gives you another way to convert Saul to Paul
Stephen--gives you a 3rd CBN Hero
Preaching at Pentecost--a great interrupt/battle winner (CBN on Peter, Paul and Stephen)
The Strong Angel--never a bad choice for a MP deck
Cornelius--negates capture Artifacts like Writ and Charms that are so common in MP, bands to Peter, works great with Angelic Visitor
Lampstand of the Sanctuary--since you aren't using Guardian of Your Souls, you might want Lampstand for games when you are the early leader and don't want Falling Aways used on you, since you should add Herod's Temple it won't take up your Artifact slot
Fortress Alstad
Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Thank you guys for all the advice! I will surely use some of these ideas, I had been wanting to tune up this deck for a while. I know it is a mush-mash of themes, I am kind of ADD sometimes. I have taken out Timon in favor of Barnabus, and taken out liberating angel and Thomas for both John and Stephen. I want to keep J Tower to prevent people meddling in my deck, (one of the guys in my playgroup has an Egyptian "deck-raper") but I will ditch raiders camp. I also added Emperor Caligula. Thanks guys! Wanted to keep you updated!

You can add those suggestions to your original deck post by modifying the first post.  You can do this by hitting the "modify" button in the top or bottom right corners.
