Doesnt seem like it would pack enough punch to get 5 souls or even fend off 5 rescue attempts but I like the concept :p I would recomend adding Josh. the 7/8 even though he is not a tabernacle priest he would help ALOT. You should also add a destruction.

Doesnt seem like it would ... fend off 5 rescue attempts ...
I thought the defense looked pretty solid myself.

I would recomend adding Josh. the 7/8 even though he is not a tabernacle priest he would help ALOT.
I have enough CBN as it is I think (oxymoron?), especially considering I probably will be playing both Spiritual Warfare and Burning Incense before battle. Ideally, I will only really need to make 2 actual rescues, since I have SoG, NJ, AotL, and Lampstand.

You should also add a destruction.
The object of my offense is to get Tabernacle and Lampstand out as early as possible, so no thank you. I'm on the edge with Captured Ark though. It would be nice, especially seeing it depicts an idol.

I think Provisions would be a better choice than HSW.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

HSW is in there mainly for site access when I need it.

HSW runs into problem when weapons appear. If that extra bit about weapons was not there, I would use it in a heart beat. However, that little bit ruins the card for me, because it can turn into wasted space in a second.

Well, I don't even care that much about shuffling EC's.

Okay, I just made a few significant changes to my deck, including the addition of Tartaros, Benaiah, and The Silver Trumpets (after learning about that one combo). I think I like it a lot.

I would suggest adding Deafening Spirit as well. It is a really good negate, and if you use it when Wandering Spirit is in battle (which, you will find, he will be often with a demon defense) then you can put it on the bottom of your deck if it gets discarded somehow during battle (or even perhaps during battle resolution...I should find that out). Either way, I think it could be very helpful.

Also, I've tried Madness a few times, and I've never found it to be very helpful: it rarely seemed to be activated at the right time. But I guess it's up to you.

Madness has saved me a few times. I just leave it up when my opponent has been giving me a hard time, and either use it to add to my numbers, or extend a battle.

Deafening Spirit is good too, but I find madness may be a little more flexable, because you can use him after a CBN battle winner. Also, it sticks around as a nice 1/5 who can get initiative pretty easily.

Also, one huge issue with tartaros is that it conflicts with Wandering Spirit. If you have Tartaros out, and you discard your own demon with WS out, Tartaros override it.

Tartaros is mainly there for the demon discarder and Demon behind the Idol. I don't think it really conflicts with Wandering Spirit, because I can only take out one demon at a time anyway. I suppose it probably isn't doing much though...I think that's what I'll take out for Deafening Spirit, which I never realized went so well with Wandering Spirit.

I would really like to avoid taking out Madness, but anything I could do to reduce my artifact pile a little would probably be a good thing. In fact, I was thinking of putting in Elymas (or maybe Enchanter if I get rid of Tartaros) and Damsel and taking out Unholy Writ for Magic Charms. What do you think about that?

Personally, I think grey/orange is my new favorite defense... however, I don't know if a true grey/orange would fit in this. Regardless, WS banded to Spirit of Temptation banded to Elymas = funny.

*EDIT*

If you were to add Deafening Spirit, i'd swap it for Evil Armor.

+TGoH...tee-hee. Yeah, I figure stable Grey just isn't going to fit at this point, seeing as the best part of Orange-Grey is Proud Pharisee, and I only have like 3 battle-winners (most of which I can set up to be play-first'ed with Evil Spawn anyway).

If you were to add Deafening Spirit, i'd swap it for Evil Armor.
No way, I'm keeping that for sure. It's awesome combined with DbtI. With all the banding though, it would be nice to have both of these. If anything, I'd like to take out an artifact or two to do this.

I don't understand why Legion, Shadow, or False Priests would be better combined with demons.

... huh?

Legions and Shadow are demons, and False Priests are for False Peace, which works in just about every deck.

I think I need to find a time to play you with my grey/orange defense.  :D

change your defence to brown so you can add three nails and image of jealosy and put it in your tabernacle like you wanted to with glory of the lord :)
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

If I actually wanted to do that, I could just replace Astrologers with brown Enchanter...but I don't, so...:P

Okay, well, it seems this deck is a little unreliable in real games. The first game I played, I went I think 5-1 (the 1 being my opponent's SoG), and then against the same player, I lost 0-5...or at least, I think that's what the score would have been. It was 0-4 and I was decked and both my offense and my defense were wearing thin. The reason I did so poorly in that game is because I didn't get either Lampstand or The Tabernacle out in time, even with Ithamar, Eli, and The Bronze Laver (which I used a lot) in my deck. It might have been bad luck, but I'm still feeling skeptical of this deck.

Anyway, it seemed like it was hardly ever beneficial for me to use Eleazar, so I think I'm going to replace him with Abiathar, and will make other changes as well.
