i know this is kind of a noob question but what would be ideal? i tend to be a little hero heavy with my deck and i need to know if i need to get rid of some
-
Just depends on how big your deck is and how many heroes you have. I usually have a few more heroes than enhancements since the enhancements do no good if you have no one to play them on.
-
thats what i thought but i end up with like ten heros and almost no enhancement. so just add more enhancements?
-
btw i have about seventy cards in my deck and i think llike twelve or thirteen good heros
-
Until you have a very good grasp on deck building I recommend using a 1 to 1 ratio for Heroes and Enhancements.
-
so go smaller on the deck then? im kinda picking it up ive been playing about a year but just within the past four or five months started building my own decks
-
Most T1 decks are 50-56 cards, but go with what works for you. If you like 63 or even 70 cards then go with it. Just try out different sizes and see what you like best.
-
ok thanks for the advice ill keep tinkering with it hopefully i can condense it a tad haha
-
If you're just playing to have fun or to try out some cool idea you had then by all means make a large deck (63+). But if you expect your deck to be competitive and win a fair amount then it should be 50-56, no more.

yeah thatss what i wanted it to be around i just dont know which cards to get rid of and which ones to keep haha
-
Deciding what to cut and what to keep is one of the hardest parts of deck building. There are usually so many good cards that you want to include it can be very hard. If you're making a balanced deck (one that includes a similar amount of offense and defense) then try to stick with 8 Heroes, 8 Good Enhancements, 8 Evil Characters and 8 Evil Enhancements.
As you decide which ones to keep and which ones to cut start by deciding which Heroes are most important to your offense. Do this until you have chosen 8, then put the rest of them aside. Do the same for your Good Enhancements, Evil Characters and Evil Enhancements. When you're all done this will give you 36 cards. Add in 7 Lost Souls and your at 43. This leaves you room to add as many dominants as you have, and a few sites/fortresses/covenants/curses and artifacts.

thanks i will try that maybe if im lucky now ill get my deck down. I appreciate the advice

"one thing that i don't like about Redemption is that there is too many staples" -quoted by TheHobbit13
I agree that there are too many cards that are "have to haves" in your deck and it takes up too much space when your building your deck that you don't have room for you characters and enhancements. I tend to use smaller decks(50-56) just to draw the staples right away and then it makes it somewhat difficult to play. that could be one reason TGT is seen a lot because it's powerful and doesn't require to many cards. I don't know if I have ever seen a 63+-card TGT deck. Thoughts?
