So my Genesis/Babylonian deck is fun and does pretty well, but I was thinking it might be fun to have another deck to have some variety to choose from when playing in the future.

I've heard green Prophets is a good deck, but I also have quite a few Musician cards (mostly white) so I was thinking one of those for the offense (or maybe Priests again since I'll be getting a PoC promo from a trade soon). I don't know much about TGT and speed decks otherwise I would build one of those.

As for defense, I'm not entirely sure what to do cuz it kinda depends on what I choose for offense so they don't end up hurting each other.

I've never been very good at deckbuilding (in any TCG) so any help/suggestions would be most appreciated.

I would do a babbalonian (sp) defense with a convert offense in yellow, blue, red. 2 of the three. Use seeker and Soldier of God too. Great times XD

Well, I intend to keep the Genesis/Babylonian deck, this new one will be in addition to the blue/crimson one, so I kinda can't use Babylonians for both defenses

Babylonians have capture, what do Assyrians have? If I go with them for defense I'll need to pick an offense that doesn't screw up their strategy

they have great battle winners and potw is there and you have messenger of satan and beat from the sea for banding too if need be

that depends on what you play and what evil characters you have in your deck. You don't want them to clash ya know?

I've taken a look at the Assyrians, and there aren't that many good Assyrian characters...most of them are Kings with high numbers and mediocre effects that would never get initiative.

I'm not seeing the uber-coolness of them for defense...

You need to see them in action. They are very effective with their enhancements. And I wouldn't coun't out assyrian archer too. Just try a game on RTS if you have it and see how it works.

So, I've been looking at the Assyrians and pale green enhancements in general, and is there an Assyrian strategy that doesn't involve capturing? The whole reason for this second deck is to try things I don't already do in my main deck
