David's at least good for one rescue if you don't have any bounce, as any O.T. good card from your deck is powerful. If you can bounce him, it's even more cards.

Now, is he gonna be better in a Ruth deck? Yes, absolutely.

Is he still worth it in a music deck?

Yes. Absolutely.
