Now that my son has started building an Egyptian defense, he's thinking he'd like to go with an all-gold (or mostly gold) deck. I know a Judges offense is supposed to be pretty good, but would being all OT create problems going back and forth? And if so, what's a good basis for a NT gold offense?

You know, a theme deck doesn't have to have only characters from that theme. Since Judges use Samson's Sacrifice, how about put in The Woman at the Well to place some yummy targets in you opponent's territory? That'll also give you a NT and another female (assuming you have Deborah in there...which you should for Judge's Seat).
