Gifts of The Magi or Golden Cherubim

Gifts of the Magi - Artifact- Each time an opponent draws a card because of a special ability on a character or enhancement, holder may draw a card
Golden Cherubim - Artifact - If an opponent draws because of a special ability he controls, you may search your deck for a card. Cannot be negated.

Tweaking a speed/search style deck. Would having both of these in my deck be "overkill"? If so, which one should I include and which one should I drop?  Don't have the ability but if I have Tables of the Law, would the Tabernacle / a Temple be worth adding to my deck? (I believe the Tablets of the Law or Golden Cherubim could  go in them)

I would say that Tables would not be worth the slot.

On the Temple, Herod's or Solomon's would be good to add if it also helps your characters (NT or them royalty).  If you are running themes that are aided by adding the temple, then it is a great add and frees you up for having another artifact active.

On having both Gifts and Cherubim, the first one works even if the second one does not (due to Naz or Signet Ring).  Depending on your preference, both could be included, sure.

If you had to pick one of the two, I'd go with Gifts because they're more likely to draw if you have Gifts up than with GC up, however I could see having both of them in there as Redoubter said.

With Shipwreck coming soon, both could be useful. KoalaKing is right though, I'm not going to let you search for SoG/NJ, but I'd let you draw. So if only one, I'd go with Gifts.

Been away for a spell...
With the draw/search power of the deck I'm tweaking, I had Tables in there to have a bigger hand. I remember the had size was changed a little while back, but can't remember what it was changed to. Like you couldn't have 20 cards in your hand...ok so maybe thats an exaggeration.
Knox, what does Shipwreck do?

First, Shipwreck is a new card being released in the Phase 2 of The Early Church.  They aren't out yet, but Rob has posted early proofs on Facebook.  This particular card negates and discards a site or fortress.

Second, the hand limit at the end of your turn is still 8, but you can never have more that 16 in hand at a time (that was an update).

I don't think that even the speediest of decks should use Tables, IMO.  If your purpose is just speed, that is mostly a dead card, and you should be playing stuff out of your hand (characters and such) to be able to get under, while the remainder can be discarded because you won't need every single card every game.
