I got the idea of this deck from http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/complete-decks/2010-nationals-t1-2p-3rd-place/
I'm basically trying to make pick off a few ECs with Seat, destroy opponent's offense with my defense, and then walk in with unstoppable judges. I've edited out the black, so I can focus on the brown. I've also bumped it up to 63 with a little more offense and haman & Persian Presidents. This is completely untested. I also want something that might get me some freebies early: Moses or CoTH?

Any thoughts?

If you want to destroy your opponents D then you definently need Woman as Snares.

WoS might be nice, but I don't have any PG EEs, so I don't know if that would be worth it. Also, what would take out?  :dunno:

I think there are stronger offenses for Herolite. Maybe try Isaiah or tiny Genesis (Zeb + Joseph + Rachel + Judah).

Yeah, maybe, but I think this is will be more unexpected and I'll get a better element of surprise than with Prophets or Genesis  ;)

Element of surprise won't mean much in my opinion. Because most Sam decks have a lot from Judges, Judges as a whole remain firmly in the meta, and as such, are targeted easily by anti-meta decks. Now admittedly, both Isaiah (which is different from Prophets) and Genesis are also affected by the same cards, but they're also overall, stronger.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I think I'll try this concept out before I give up on it and do something else. I didn't make this to be my main deck, but I wanted to try a herolite offense that was kind of different.

Shibileth would be good for good enhancements.

Good idea :). I'll take out Furnace for that. I took out Harvest Time for Convincing Miracle (CBN battle winner if opponent is decked). Also, any suggestions on the number of cards that is best for this type of deck: 56, 63, or 70?

I don't see the defense "destroying" your opponents offense.  They will get past with CBN's.

In my limited testing of it, it seems to work quite well, but maybe I haven't used it enough to see it's weaknesses. I don't necessarily need to destroy my opponent's offense, just stall enough for my to judges to win.

I would try to put woman as snares in there even if you just have her. You could add her and someone else and put in Death of unrighteous, Confusion of maybe forgotten History.

I wouldn't really consider the current version of the deck as herolite. You are going to have major problems with any sort of deck that has speed in it. Your deck has 63 cards, no speed and no way of slowing down speed decks. I would add in at least 2 anti-speed artifacts (Hezzy's Ring, Cov. w/ Death or Rain Becomes Dust). I would also put in the FBTN lost soul since all your heroes are OT and male. Samuel needs to be in here also.

Why would you put Sam in? He does not have King Saul or David?

Why not Sam? He is another Judge with low numbers, negates play abilities, Sam's Edict is CBN off him, can band to your opponent's I Samuel heroes and can be a +3 card advantage if you add the evil King Saul. I would also put in Ehud's Dagger.

It negates your opponet's souls, such as Female and NT only.

I have the Wanderer to get by Female/nt only LSs, so I dont think I need the fbtn Ls. Besides, I should have plenty of Lost Soul choices by the time my offense gets started. But maybe sam would be a good idea so maybe something like this:

Out
Deborah
Moses
Foul Spirit

IN
King Saul
Ehud's Dagger
Samuel

Moses and FbtN LS are musts for any Judges offense.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Why fbtn ls? it negates other ls abilities, but I cant see that being very helpful.

I used to have moses in there, but I switched him out for something else. This isn't really a normal Judges offense, but I might try him out.
