I am trying to create my want list for the coming tournament.  I started with this deck and notice that I've only change one card for my actual deck to my "dream" deck.  Is there any other changes I could make (and as always, please give reasons for the changes)?  Please also look at the LS to see if there would be better ones for this deck.  Thanks

Ok, Wow, no. JTE+Egyptian Defense=Bad Bad bad. Switch it out for something. Also this deck needs to be bumped up to 70 cards ;) and beef up the defense a bit.

Other than the opinions of the size, are there any suggestion.

Also, I will defendantly take out JTE (was more focused on the site access than the ignore part :P).  Any suggestions on a replacement card?

.... Do I need a reason? King Elah would be good too.

EDIT: Looking back at your enhancements, King Elah might not be the best choice...

I say replace Jannes with KOT

In a larger deck, you want to find Pharaoh's Throne Room quickly. Jannes should probably stay in there.

Yea, if I actually do get KOT (which I still kind of don't want in this deck), I would switch out the slave.

NO! The slave is awesome. But definitely throw in KOT. If you want to stick to only egyptians... then have fun. But KOT will be better, I guarantee it.

Jacob's Dream.  Taking an opponent's Site works for both offense (site access) and defense (site lock/stall).

I don't see some of what I'd consider staple good enhancements for a Genesis offense.  Why no Abe's Servant to Ur?  Obedience of Noah?  And in a deck this size, Numberous as the Stars and Stone Pillar at Bethel?

If you add another Egypt then the "Site Guard" LS could work out well.  You should also seriously consider the "Wanderer" LS because of the difficulty that a Genesis offense has rescuing the commonly used Female & NT souls.

This is why I posted my deck :).  I will look at getting Abe's Servant and Obedience in the deck.  However, I had Numberous as the Stars before and most of the time, it came too late in the game.  With Stone Pillar, I just don't like throwing away cards to get another card while also using up my artifact slot.

I'll probably put in Sign Of The Rainbow.  I might look silly using CON as an enhancement (considering that I do not want to use an artifact slot for it).

Wow.  That just destroyed my defense strategy.  I'll break it down with the reason I have them in there.  If some one has a better reason why I should still take them out, then please let me know.

Lost Soul (revealer):
It's so much fun to annoy people with this LS (in the end, I'll probably switch it out for Wanderer)

Lost Soul (site remove):
Main purpose of this deck is deck discard.  I have two LS that helps with this when they are placed in a site.  This LS removes one of them so I can put them back into the site for more fun

Jerusalem Tower:
To prevent harm from my deck (either from some one using my defense or other cards that hurt my deck)

Oppressed and Robbed:
Again, part of my main strategy.  Also, I can have this active, block with HE with spear on him, then use Mask of fear :).

Burning up the Chaff:
What's the point of discarding their deck if they can get them back from their discard pile.  This stops the reaccurances that I often see (and have been used against me).

Jubilee:
Speaking of reaccurances, here's mine.

Trapped in Cleverness:
Battle winner (will probably switch out for Abe servant)

Begging to go Back:
Part of my deck discard strategy.  Also help me put any LS I discard from their deck back on top.

I am thankful for your advise.  I am just showing the logic behind my choices so you can see how I'm looking at them (and show me the error of my ways if you want :P).

Also with the artifacts, most of the time, I will be switching between Opressed & Robbed and Given Over To Egypt.  My other artifacts/covenants/curses are there to be used once or twice the whole game.

I'll try to update my deck (especially since I only need two cards that have been mentioned here :)).

I think you might have mixed up the "Site Guard" and "Color Guard" Lost Souls.  I agree that "Color Guard" wouldn't help you much, as not many people use gold offense.

You're giving in to the fear factor. ;)  There's not much that's commonly used that's going to harm your deck.  JT might stop something harmful in your opponent's deck 1-2 times out of 10 games.  The other 8-9 of those games it's a "dead" card.  You'd be better off using Wall of Protection to protect yourself from your own defense.

Oppressed and Robbed:
Again, part of my main strategy.  Also, I can have this active, block with HE with spear on him, then use Mask of fear :).

That's a cool combo. :)  I can't imagine that it happens very often though.  I've played deck discard.  It works great without Oppressed and Robbed.  Other than your combo, when is this good?  Against JT.  You've got Spreading Mildew for that.  Besides, as I mentioned above, people really shouldn't be playing that card, it's a waste of space in their deck. ;)  O&R is good vs FBTN.  If you want to counter FBTN you'd be better off with Holy of Holies because that helps your offense too.

I agree with everything Gabe said about J-tower. About half the decks nowadays I play are using pale green, with confusion, and then they typically get it first. This has happend twice to me against Cameron and twice against Prof Underwood(when he was using his christmas deck). Unless you are using fbtn or pre-block ignore or ctb... I'd recommend it. Confusion is extremely popular these days.

Opps.  Now that I see what the LS is, I can see a combo that would be quite fun to use with promise land.  What happens after the battle?  Do they just return to your territory or do they return to the site?

It’s not just in there for the FBTN decks, per say, but to make sure there is no way to stop the discarding of the decks.  I would use the combo mainly against decks that are not prepared for a FBTN (since he does have nice stats with the spear).

A couple of weeks ago, I played against my friend who plays a silver/gold/grey deck.  He came in with an angel.  I blocked and caused him to discard.  He flip the top card and it was Gabriel (woot).  However, he then played something (can’t remember the name) that brought Gabriel back to the top.  So yeah, getting rid of their discard pile is a good thing in my eyes.

It always works, but isn't always useful ;)
You just have to decide for yourself based on what you expect to come up against whether or not it's worth the card slot.  It helps against some of the most annoying cards in the game (Confusion, Gabriel, Egyptian deck-discard, etc.), and it's only one card that sets up as soon as you draw it, so I say keep it, unless you get to a point where there are absolutely no other cards you can do without and you want something like Wall of Protection more.  Both JT and WoP are situationally useful cards that can spare you a lot of frustration, so just pick whichever you like best.

In my experience with deck discard, I've found that Wonders Forgotten is almost always enough to get rid of the powerful cards your opponent wants to recur. Only about one out of every ten games I'd play it before they got four nasty cards to recur in their discard pile. I'd take out Burning Up the Chaff and throw in something more useful. :)

Cov of Noah is better than Sign of the Rainbow.  It does the same thing, has bigger numbers, and can be put in your art pile if you have hand clog.

Sarah is better than Rebekah.  She still makes Simeon work, and has bigger numbers in case you need to pull her out with Answered Prayer, or just attack with her by herself.

I have to agree, Remove the chaff for troops discharged. Learn to love troops discharged its the best deck d/c card ever. Not to meantion completely evil if used right.
