Hey everyone, I used to have a really good deck in the pre-Priests days but then gave up the game for awhile. I've been getting involved again for the last year or two and been trying to make a competitive deck, but with little success. I've been running some sort of teal offense with some combo of black/brown/pale green. Just a day or two ago I switched from a Fellowship Offering based Z-Temple priests to Z-Temple with some FBTN and banding. I'd appreciate any advice on the following deck, or just let me know if this basic idea can't be competitive and I should just start on something else. Thanks in advance.

I would swap Strife for Vain Philosophy.

I haven't played with the new cards much. How is VP better than Strife?

I second replacing Strife with Vain Philosophy.  Vain Philosophy can remove SoG or NJ a lot of times from opponent’s hand.  Otherwise, can get their key card in a rescue attempt before they can use it.  Take out Lahmi and either Fallen Warrior or Philistine Priests. (I would say Fallen Warrior) Add Amariah the High Priest for teal.  Add 1-2 black enhancements – if you take out two, I would choose another EC to take out…maybe Delilah since you have Lot’s Wife in there, idk.  It seems like Blue is the weak link in brigades here.  I would take out all blue characters and enhancements as well as Covenant with Moses.  Replace with trumpet blast, zeal for the lord, and perpetual priesthood.  Options for the replacement for the fourth card would be Jordan interrupted or a site to use with Trumpet blast in case your opponent has no sites or evil fortresses.

I guess I was thinking that Strife would go well with Garrison. Should I go with all teal or stick with this?

Any other ideas before I go to a tournament this weekend? Also, which Saph is better (I deck "Prevent the next Enhancement played by an opponent." /Kings "May band to one warrior class Philistine Evil Character." )?

I deck. If you opponent only has one battle winner, then you can win the battle.

Good thinking, I guess I already have enough evil banding. Thanks
