What is the fastest 15 card defense you can build?
I'm assuming it would be gray?
"Edit"
Multi-Colored
Outsiders (Blk / Gold)
Fire Foxes
Sanhedrin
Scattered
Plot to Kill
Grey
Proud Pharisee
Sabbath Breaker
Emperor Vitellus
Pretension
Balaam's Disobedience
Black
High Priest Ananias
Saph
Seized by Rioters
Joseph in Prison
Orange
Messanger of Satan
The Deceiver
Reserve:
Uzzah
Foreign Wives
Stone of Thebez

It should include gray but if "fast" is your primary goal it will be multi-color. Cards like Messenger of Stan and Outsiders (black&gold) are staples.
-
Sabbath Breaker + Deceiver and Darkness to help insure you get SB turn 1 is all you need.
-
Based off of your suggestions this is what I came up with.
I really like it. It has been fun.

Jamming the best cards in the game into a deck is always fun:)

This is true, especially when they are all in two colors that go together so well and are wicked fast.
This is what I put together based off of the gray defense I was using and Gabe's suggestions of adding Outsiders and messenger.
Sanhedrin and The deceiver make it work.

No Chief Priests?

Probably don't need pretention if you only have 2 pharisees. I would also rather have Goliath than Saph. The Chief priests is a great EC and you could even put Disbelieving Sadducee in your reserve for an auto block against angels.

Messenger of Satan
Damsel
Vittels
Sabbath Breaker
Outsiders
Neb
Dream
Swift horses
A slave
Deceiver
Gomer
Uzzah
Plot
Wickedness abounds? The one that lets you draw a bunch
Balaams disobedience

Yeah, but what would I drop for it?

I love the disbelieving seducee idea!

Yeah, that is definitely quicker, I somehow forgot about damsel. Once I use hamans plot though the deck wouldn't be able to get too many blocks.

You don't need blocks lol
Draw your doms faster to get some blocks then it's game over you win ;)

That defense you came up with might just be fast enough to pull it off.

It really comes down to how much blocking power you want to sacrifice. 16 slots should be plenty of room for any mid range defense in the game, so unless your offense is consistently winning in 2-3 turns, something like Hobbit suggested will probably get run over.

This is correct. 16 slots is plenty for a real defense. If you really want a defense in a deck where the plan is to win in 2-3 turns, you run it half that size and all your defensive cards need to either be a self contained block (Uzzah, Firefoxes, etc) or draw 3+ cards. In such a defense cards like Messenger, Vitles, and Outsiders are not consistently 3+ card draw on turn 1 and thus too slow to have in main deck.

+1

Yeah, wouldn't recommend the defensive lite anymore (8 cards ish). People are playing with too much defense now and are inevitable going to block you here and there. When they do, you're basically handing your opponent a lost soul.

If you're building your offense and defense separately, you're not going to win anyway.
