ok. in the past i have seen decks called "Christian Decks" the main point behind them was to use a whole bunch of cards that work well together in a non-theme deck. this way there was no way to prepare. i remember hur+gifs, then fbtnb  with aocp and et. there was also transfig with moses and elijah. the deck was posted a long time ago "before the purge"  :maul:  does anyone have an old deck list or even know what i am talking about?

that was my deck before the purple was replaced with more effective speed and cards that did the same thing but with less cards (ala josh/phin/zeal, pentecost and first fruits).

Sounds just like an old school speed deck. Small/no defense and 5-6 combos to win LS's. Toss in Gifts of the Magi/Pentecost/First Fruits

Phinehas, son of Eleazar/Joshua the High Priest  + Zeal for the Lord(cannot be negated on both guys) + Jehoiada’s Strength(add in a fbtn guy)

Ethiopian Treasurer/Widow + Reach of Desperation + Authority of Christ Promo

Lydia/Faithful Servent Promo + Transfiguration + Moses

Hur/Benaiah (Wa) +Plague of Frogs(can be used on FSP also, or just for the numbers on Ben) +Provisions(Choose the Block vs one of your 1/1 ECs)

Jacob + CoTH band

Something like that for the offense.
My Teams: Atlanta Braves, NY Giants, Miami Hurricanes Football, Duke Basketball, Cleveland Cavs

You're welcome. Make sure to use all of the staple Doms and Lost Souls. Uzzah + Art + Unholy Writ + KoT would be a decent start to the defense. You don't want to go to crazy on defense though, keep it as small as you can.

This type of deck was used so much and for so many years that people got sick of it and gladly welcomed stronger defenses. Tim Maly used a deck like this for years and many copies and variations were made, and had much success. The decklist is on redemptionne.com aka wild card I'm sure as a type 1 winning deck. Also look at the multiplayers from years back, they too are just like this. It's kinda have but your deck has no flow, just the 3-4 card combos, 1-2 heroes with 1-2 enhs of cbn battle winners. When teal came out a more streamlined version was created that used teal/purple, and the variations consisted of a Jacob/Captain band, or had green or white. Some quicker, faster decks used all of it with the draw cards and set asides with a small 6-8 card defense. Uzzah/Trembling Demon also helped this deck out. It really didn't change until TGT came out and the meta changed to TGT variations. It wasn't until just recently that more theme cards came out and strong civilizations and theme decks were made. Now this deck is a thing of the past, and for good reason. I do not see it doing great with people playing more defense now a days. Good luck though.
