Deck discard

I have a deck idea where you try to force your opponent to deck out by discarding their deck. It has a Samaritan offense and just a gold defense. Here is what I've thought for it so far.

Heroes:
The woman at the well(to search out lost souls before you start discarding the deck)
The thankful leper(your enhancements cannot be negated if opponent decks out)
watchful servant (for when your opponent decks out)
Paladin, the fighter( to protect lost souls from going back into their deck)
faithful servant(same as paladin, the fighter)
soldier of God(to band to paladin, the fighter, faithful servant, or the good Samaritan)
The good Samaritan( to take kindness from discard pile and if banded to soldier of God your opponent will only draw one)

Enhancements:
Kindness

Artifacts:
Samaritan water jar( to temporarily lower their deck amount)

Evil characters:
Queen Tahpenes (before the woman at the well is done)
Evil spawn(gold brigade, after the woman at the well)

lost souls:
deck discard

Dominants:
Harvest time( if you want the souls out faster)
Destruction(in case they have chariots)

please post your suggestions. Thanks.

for the defense I would recommend these 4 cards:
Any female NT hero
Pithom (to hold given over to egypt)
Given over to Egypt
Wash basin

This is a brutal combo. you reveal the top 2 cards of their deck with wash basin and put one you want to discard on top, if there is a lost soul there you put it second from the top. them using given over to egypt you discard the top card of their deck.

I have a N.T female(woman at the well) but how does that help the defense?

Evil Characters
Huge Egyptian - discard the top of opponents deck. if lost soul put in play instead.
King Shishak - Jerusalem tower has no effect. if block is successful, discard top card of any draw pile.
Egyptian Horsemen - discard the top card from your opponents draw pile or draw a card from yours.
Panic Demon (Gold) - if rescue attempt fails, discard the top card of opponents draw pile. may band to panic demon.
Queen Tahpenes - if blocking, discard the top card from opponents deck. if its a lost soul put it in play instead, if its evil character put in your territory and convert to gold
Salome - discard a captured hero or the top of card of opponents deck. if its a lost soul put it in play instead. may band to Herodias or a herod. CBN if Herodias is in play.

Evil Enhancements
Egyptian Spear - discard the top of opponents deck. if lost soul put in play instead.

So wash basin can have full effect.

Deck discard is cool, and egyptians are great for it. herods are too, though (with cards like Beheaded and Rash Oath). As for offense, genesis does some deck discard, and so does some of the newer red brigade weapons. For a deck discard strat I would pair egyptians with herods and use whatever offense. The deck will be slow, but it'll be solid.
if you're rude I'll flip a biscuit. yep.

If you're looking for control, I highly recommend Genesis/Emperors. It's more about hand control than deck discard, but I think that's more powerful as you limit what they have to play by discarding/underdecking what's in their hand. I'm currently running a variation of an Alstad deck and if it gets off some of the cooler combos it can get rid of half or more of their hand in one block.

Canaan is a good option for deck discard because you can basically use the deck discard lost soul twice and you don't need to play any canaanites.
