So I have been out of the game for the last few sets, so can someone tell me what cards are out there that are used that would trigger the darkness LS?  Thanks

how many of them allow your opponent to chose the LS from your deck though?  If your opponent gets to chose, I bet they won't chose the one that gives you an EC...

That depends. If your choice is Liner, Dull, Forsaken, Escape, etc is there really a better choice?

I find Darkness creating ECs mostly happens when you draw it while having none.

That was the primary intent--basically a way to improve the chances that a player will have a first turn blocking option.
