Why sound the trumpet???
You could put jacob in... that would let you play OoN right away without needing both claudia and ET...

My deck will eat this one for breakfast...

Jk, it looks solid, the one thing I would worry about would be its speed, Lamenting takes 4 turns, you can't afford that many, I would swap it out for First Fruits or Pentecost to speed up the deck.

I'm pretty sure you don't need holy of holies either...  everything is (or should be) either played as a set-aside or pre-block.  You could add Going into Exile for more defense, since most of your CtB characters are warrior class.

yeah the more I look at it the more I think that the offense just doesn't have enough oomph. more speed more battle winners for those just in case situations.

Also a search would go well in this deck.

You only have 6 ways to win the battle outside of AotL....  I'm not terribly confident it will succeed against many defenses that have a decent number of cards.

I agree with Kirk, my deck would eat this one for breakfast, with enough left over for lunch.

All sound advice...maybe I'll just ditch this idea. :P

No, don't.  It's a really good idea, and I think it has potential to be in mid-level tourneys, if not a little higher.

It also looks like a lot of fun to play, especially constantly seeing the looks on your opponents' faces when they can't do anything to block.

But thats just the problem, he has the standard CTB guys - Obedience King Amazing and Provisions, you can dominant stop two of those plus with Darkness, Kingdoms, and Unknown nation all readily at hand I'm just going to laugh when I band somebody in and he has no battle winners to back it up - I think its a viable idea, it just needs a little refinement.

Dominant stops? That's why I use banding and Faithful Servant. Darkness (or Lurking)? Seriously, how many people actually use that? Kingdoms? That's why I have Sound the Trumpet. Unknown Nation? This is what I plan to use DoN/Captured Ark on, so I don't think it's a big problem.

I just got an Idea. Maybe I could make this defense a little more Roman oriented and add in RDJ? That could help a bit with those annoying forts.

I did something like this last year and it worked pretty well.  The key, imo, is to have a strong defense that can last long enough for you to pull off all the CTB combos.  As you mentioned you can find answers to their counters to make all your CTB work.  I like the idea of adding some Romans and using RDJ as a way to rid yourself of annoying Forts.

Okay, I tampered with it a little (actually quite a bit), so see what you think of it now. ...
