Is it possible to have a good deck that uses several captures without having any sites?

Yes, as long as you have Raider's Camp :)

I don't think I've ever tried a capture deck with sites. :-\

I knew it! Somebody was going to say Raider's Camp! XDD Yeah, Raider's Camp is awesome! I'm going to buy one from my friend (if he actually has extras). But if not, I wanted to see if there was some other way to keep my defense up. I have two captures ( and with Simon's Pride, I get to use a black brigade enhancement from my discard pile) but I usually end up losing because my Unholy Writ, captures; most of my defense would be gone before I could finish rescuing the five LS.
I have two sites, the Leper Colony (Silver Site, Any human Hero held prisoner in this site contacts Leprosy and loses 2/2 per round until Hero reaches */0 or less, discard hero.) and the Nero's Realm (Silver site, If an N.T. Hero is prisoner here, discard Hero if not rescued after five turns) So that I won't have the captured Heroes forever.

I just had a thought. Wouldn't Ezra be a good way to get rid of captured Heroes?
Ezra: a Teal Priest, 5/5, Special Ability is " Return one capture Hero to owner's territory. Interrupt that player's Wall of Protection. Ezra may band with that Hero.

Rib-tips is a good way to get rid of captured heroes.
Headquarters at Riblah SA Protect Babylonian Evil Characters in your territory from discard. During discard phase, you may discard this Fortress to discard all captured Heroes in your Land of Bondage.

I don't think so, I often run capture decks with sites for my lost souls, not the heroes. I use the thorns ls. Idk why people want heroes OUT of their land of bondage, without certain cards they won't go anywhere, can't be recured by cof (often used) or D harp.

If the lost soul have some sort of special ability, I'd keep it out, if not (like a captured hero), I'd put it in a site.

Oh sorry I wasn't being specific enough. I meant if it something like female, I'd keep it out of a site, usually. If it's something like a captured hero or a revealer, I'd put it in a site.
