Ok so I have 18 cards so far in the deck...AND it that is just the Lost souls and dominants...

LAMBS:
NJ
GOYS
SOG
AoTL
GoW
HT

REAPERS:
CM
BURIAL
MAYHEM
DON
???DOUBT???

of course the 7 lost souls...

I am looking to make a orange defense...but not sure on the rest yet, but my question is DO I HAVE TOO many dominants that will not allow me to build a decent deck other wise? Thanks!

You can build a solid deck around that, it'll just be tough. HT could be cut though, I only use it in speed.

Imho, Mayhem is mostly only useful in Speed or Abom decks. I don't usually waste a spot for it in any other decks.

Doubt is a fun card, but doesn't see much play. If you want to throw it in, by all means do so. I think more people should use it as it's a randomly fun card

Mayhem actually help me win my first round type 1-multi today. It helps a lot. It is either hit or miss imho. But I always include it.

okay now on to the defense...if I were to say to an orange, (POSSIBLY Magician included) defense...aside from the Ultra ultra rares or the promos...what would be the staples

There are no staples, except maybe Trembling Demon. Orange is pure combo, so you include whatever cards you need for your combos. The most popular combos, however, are Wandering Spirit+Trembling Demon, DBI+Two Possessed, and PotW+HHI.
