I do not usually do this, since most of the decks I build get disassembled within a few weeks after I built them; and after having seen little to no playtime. But there is a local tourney coming that I would like to go to, so I need something to bring. My thoughts when making this deck were that I want it to be something (1) fun, (2) unusual, but not completely over-the-top weird, (3) made up of cards that I have a decent quantity of.
I started out making a poison deck, but I get distracted easily when deck building, so it's not the basic all-brown sort. After putting the defense together, I thought that a small offense based around using the already large defense as an offense (via side-battles) seemed like a good option; plus, it meant I could do all sorts of weird/fun stuff in those side battles like using Siege+All Hope Lost.
After putting it into RTS, I saw that I wasn't getting very good draws, but I didn't have time to go back through it (I had homework to do). I'll leave it to all of you to tell me where it needs modification. Here's some things you should be aware of when making suggestions: I don't have any RoA/FooF in my collection, I am quite frugal (i.e. I'm not about to go drop $10 on a DoN or $30 on AoCp), and I am keeping my budget for this tourney low. Make whatever recommendations you like, just keep those things in mind.
