Post by: Cameron the Conqueror on May 17, 2009, 08:06:03 PM: Any advice would be great; this is a new defense in a proven offense that I'm liking the feel of. I wold love any advice on how to increase the defense without adding many cards.

Add Shuffler, Malchus, Unknown Nation. That will give you 51 cards.
Add another Stand alone of choice if you like: KoT, SWS, T-Demon or something.
Just my little thoughts.

I know the deck is probably better without most of them, but this is an idea with them in. Thanks for the suggestions though; this is more of an idea deck, not an edit of my playing deck. :)

The idea looks fun and solid, but only gameplay will tell for sure. It looks defenselite in order to overwhelm. Good luck with it Cameron.

Yes, capture is nice, but totally against my deck idea. That would take a lot of cards, and it would make my sites harder to use. I'm looking at literally ~4-5 defensive cards.

What do you guys think about Doubt? I have used it once, and it did win a block..... Or, is there a better card to replace it with? (maybe KoT, SWS, or take another card out for 2 more.....)

KOT
Red Dragon
Emperor Nero/A Slave

Uzzah is good for one block, Sabbath Breaker lets you draw, KOT can often be used for multiple blocks, and in the right circumstances Nero/Red Dragon can be pretty mean cards. Slave is just for an extra LS.

I wouldn't use Doubt for a stand alone defense. Leviathan is just as large as doubt, equally as hard to target, only can be used multiple times.

As for the deck... these are the decks I never have enough guts to use. ;D Giving ls without standing a chance to block... I can't even stand the thought of it. But I know they work. I'd take out something (probably doubt) for king of tyrus. Also, have you thought of HOH trembling demon SSOS? That's 2 instant blocks... I'd also add in Torment.

Post by: Cameron the Conqueror on May 19, 2009, 07:28:22 PM: It is 2 blocks if you have Torment. That combo is in the non-site verson of this deck, but I'm not sure if I have much room. I guess I'll take out Doubt, I just wanted to try it. =D

When I get back in town, I'll edit it and make version....... 1.1 i guess.
