I would say Foreign Wives would be nice. She's probably only good for 1-2 blocks (1 on a surprise from hand when your opponent has drawn, and 1 possible when you can play either Stone or Gib Trick). She does hurt the TGT ignore, but you can use her judiciously to avoid issues.

I'd also consider using Canaan. It can help you capture an annoying Hero from a territory (like Thaddeus, for example, as a smart Disciples player will use HT to counter Stone and CM, and Kidron Valley or DoN to take care of Writ). It does stop a potential strategy of using a converted Shechem to generate souls during a drought, but if need be you can discard Canaan at practically anytime if need be.

I am unsure about TAS in today's meta. Almost every deck I have played against since the new set released includes Nazareth, and since you aren't using Plot, you have no support for him, so he'll be a wasted card much of the time.

Otherwise it looks pretty solid to me.

what do you think could come out for foreign wives. TAS or is there something else. The only reason TAS is in there is to get out Shechem faster but have another blocking character could do the trick to think that might be the way to go. any one else have any thoughts

As someone who plays Canaanites in T2 and has captured 5 heroes in one turn through Canaan + Fortify Site...I concur ;)  I know this is T1, but Canaan can also be recurred by Fortify Site, so it gives you another card you can play this for, and Fortify Site's artifact destruction is almost as good as the recursion honestly.  The only problem is that I would suggest then taking out at least 1 or 2 of the meta EC you have for more Canaanites, or you can't capture with Canaan (and it will hurt your defense at the same time).  Sisera is a personal favorite of mine, but without many Black EE in your deck as it is (JiP is fun, IMO), Abimelech or Jezebel would be my suggestions (the first for lower numbers and being able to discard evil cards if you win a battle, the second for a nasty way to kill green heroes everywhere).
