Defense is too big; offense isn't big enough. :-\
-
You know, that actually sounds like an awesome idea for a herolite... I'll have to try my own crazy variant of this some time. ;D
Overall, this deck looks killer. One addition that'd help you out though is Angels Sword, so you can go in with Mike after the AOCP bomb and kill anyone they bring out from their hand. I know TGT is there for that, but a backup never hurts. Also, I highly suggest you throw in Brass Serpent. A single bad CM could destroy the whole thing, so you need to be able to keep the combo alive. Trust me, I'm a combo deck fanatic... ask anyone. :D
This is my kinda deck man... Props.
Defense is too big
You can never have too big of a defense.

Changed some things...

Love the idea. I prefer samson's sac though.
-
You could add Peace Treaty: s/a O.T. Heroes ignore one evil brigade except orange, or may band to a human Hero.
Cherubim + ET + PT
If you like ignore.
-
pretty ingenious. Nice combo. Remind me to never play you ;)
-
I love it. This combo is great.

What happens when they play color guard?

What happens when they play color guard?
In T1 it isn't a big deal, he can just wait to use Sog/NJ on the Color Guard. In T2 it would be worth including I Am Salvation just in case.
-
He's also using the best Lost Soul in Redemption - the "Wanderer". It will solve all his Color Guard problems.
-
Yeah... I love this offense... but actually my main concern is my defense and other arts besides IaH. Is crimson the best idea??? Sites??? Any cards that I'm missing/should change???
-
It seems to me like Michael doesn't fit here; I mean, there's only one enhancement he can use and he will most likely never get init to play it. ...
-
Michael is mainly there as I am Holy fodder... In a pinch, I assume Matt uses Gathering on Michael instead of The Destroyer and plays FSS preblock when banded to ET to clear a couple annoying characters.
As for the defense, it really depends on your play style. Defenses are all getting stronger and it comes down to personal preference. Especially if you end up using a couple cards that don't commonly see play, you can catch your opponent off-guard.

I do not see the big deal in this offense, sorry. Use Trumpet Blast then AoC and you have 2 successful rescues plus 2 turns compared to getting The Destroyed Gathering and Et/AoC.
-
Using trumpet blast is not the easiest thing to use. Going out with a teal character allows them to play enhancements. The whole point of this deck is to stall until all their EC's are in territory or discard and then win the game with a unstoppable AoC promo. If you went and used trumpet blast, you would have to start including an offense which in turn takes away from the defense...
-
This type of strategy is like the one in my heroless deck: Wait the entire game till the end so your opponent has to lay all his EC's down, then ra with meh Paulster (Hidden Treasures active) and play Trumpet Blast to eliminate any protect fort, which makes way for a devastating Reach + AoCP.
-
Paul is a prophet???
-
Yupperoo; Soundman was a little annoyed by that last time I played him. ;)
-
What did he prophesy???
-
Paul is a prophet???
Yes he is. The instant Hidden Treasures came out, I dug into the REG and looked up "Prophets. " much to my suprise, Saul/Paul was listed.
