Initiative or lack thereof isn't really the problem.

Nope, the problems are CM, UW, Charms, etc...
Just one more thing...

In addition to what Praeceps said, mono Red doesn't have the speed to justify two battle winners that are only CBN on one hero. Also, Uriah kills himself after battle with David in play.

The point in taking out Jael's Nail and T&S is that they are repetitive, he already has a bunch of battle winners.  Having two battlewinners that are only good on one specific character create too much hand-clog to be worthwhile.

I disagree - a CBN win is worth having in a deck and it isn't very repetitive :preach:

Red Wing and Praeceps are right.  Since they are only CBN on Uriah it's unlikely that you be able to play them on him becasue of writ/charms/cm, or far more likely, the chance that you don't have them at the same time and have to discard Nail or T&S becasue they make your hand too big.  On top of that the are both repetitive, they are just BoDs and AotLs except not as good.

I'm not disputing whether Uriah is good or not, what I am disputing is that you shouldn't need to rely on him to play those enhancements because there are good odds that he won't every get to play either of them.

Also please consider what he would be taking out for them.  Things like more drawing (something he needs desperately), wool fleece to make his other battle winners work better etc.  Those would be far more valuable than a couple extra battle-winners, especially since he already has a lot of them.

It still could really use wool fleece to make Ahimilek/AotL/BoD/Dave's Triump etc. work better.  Other than that it looks pretty good. Switching out David's mighty men for Ambush, would be pretty awesome too.
