If you all could give me any ideas on how to improve this deck that would be great. I was trying to build a Panic Demon deck with some extra characters for set aside fortresses and conversions with the Holy Grail. I included lots of battle winners too. My theory is to block with individual Panic Demons early and use battle winners along with Crown of Thorns to make my PDs 2/1 characters. While doing that I will use Deb and JS to wipe out their defense. Once these two phases are complete I will convert human ECs to Heroes and walk in for the remaining souls I need. All of your suggestions are gladly accepted!

I don't think this will be very effective to be honest.

-You have no way to protect Grail, so if when they DON it all you'll have is Deborah.
-Your defense is far too spread, I think.
-You have no site access
-Your hoping they don't have a protection fortress, if they do you don't really have a chance because they can block
-Your hoping you can use Judges seat. What happens if someone attacks with a character like Angel of the Harvest?
-You have 4 characters you can convert, not enough. Especially beings one is SSoS.
-Etc

I don't know where to take this deck from here, but I'd start with removing the sites and adding an offense.

Yeah, you definitely need some more heroes. I mean, your opponent will draw CM eventually.

Also, I would really try to fit in a Fort Nuker if at all possible.

Yeah, that was the plan to play it as heroless!

Site access shouldn't be a problem because when I get around to converting my evil characters all of their souls will be out and in sites and I get to choose what brigade my characters are. And for that matter they will have used DoN on one of my other Artifacts when it finally comes out. Only a very patient player will even know I have an offensive strategy since I could be going for the win without rescuing five and just keeping my opponent below me. I appreciate your comments so far, but I am looking for specific ideas. Should I take out something to add something else that is missing. I am not going to put an "offense" in since that is part of this decks strategy...so what else guys?

BTW, this is the first deck I have ever posted for review so be gentle...

Yes, Heroes can be CMed in Judges Seat. It offers no protection.

I would say that their ability to negate would not work as it contradicts. The exchange would work however.

Now that I read their SA again, it isn't as exciting as I thought it would be yesterday. My plan is that by the time Complainers is out their heroes will all be nuked so...

Is there anything that can protect Deborah except Windows of Narrow Light which will protect her from everything but discard? Actually can't I have multiple Deborahs in this deck since she has no SA?

Yes, you can have multiple Deborah's in the deck since she has no SA.

If you add a Tabernacle/Temple and Lampstand of the Sanctuary you can protect Deborah from CM and Holy Grail from DoN. I'd take out GoYS for LotS. With the plan to "walk in for free souls" at the end of the game you shouldn't need GoYS, but if you do, LotS will serve the same purpose.

I'm not sure that Wall of Protection helps you very much. You only have 1 Hero they can band to (Deb) and there aren't many cards that band to her. Since you won't be attacking until late they won't have the opportunity to band to your defense. You could exchange this for a Tabernacle/Temple.

Since you're not trying to rush in to gobble up a Soul every time there's one available, the "Revealer" doesn't seem like the optimal choice. I would probably use the "Demon Discard" LS or one of the new RoA souls instead. The RoA choices I think could help are "Deck Discard", "Site Guard" and "Punisher".

I assume Spiritual Realm is there to protect your demons from capture? It seems like you'd be better off with Tartaros. You would then gain control over any of your opponent's demons that are discarded by Judges Seat and set up some nice tricks for your own defense.

Seven Sites is probably one too many. I'd consider cutting one to add The Bronze Laver. With all that defense it will allow you to get to the cards you need quicker and it can go in the Tabernacle/Temple.

Kingdoms of this World would be another really nice addition. Not only will it protect some of your ECs but it will give you more protection from choose the blocker. Personally, I don't like Burial Shroud so I would take that out to make room. If your a BS fan, then you could cut an EE or EC.

This is getting long so I'll touch on the defense in a seperate post.

It will still make their heroes easier to pick off by your EC's, but it will also raise deborah up too so while that is up Judges seat wont be as effective

The defense looks spread out and could use more focus. There are a few directions you could take it.

These are multicolor cards you might want to consider no matter which direction you go with your defense.

Self works nicely in a "rainbow" deck, can copy a human (so he gets around anti-demon cards like 3 nails) and helps against The Empty Tomb that's over hyped right now.

I would use Lying Unto God instead of The Pit for an alternate way to get rid of a pesky Three Nails. Not many people play Three Nails but you need to be able to dispose of it if they do. The Pit will be a "dead" card most of the time. LuG will rarely be a dead card.

Other people have mentioned how a protection Fortress will stop your Deb + Judges Seat plan. Battering Ram is a good solution to that. It's not hard for you to get three characters in battle when you have 7 Panic Demons. You just need to be able to get initiative...

Lurking is good verses choose the blocker and would allow you to "sneak" your PD army into battle.

I don't understand the purpose of Emperor Galba and Abaddon. It seems like they're just big guys who will give your opponent initiative. Help me out if I'm missing something. Also The Tartan has his uses but I don't see your deck taking advantage of him either.

I don't really see the "2 of every brigade" plan working consistently, but I'm sure it would be fun to play. If you want a deck that wins almost every time I would abandon that plan. If your heart is set on that style, these are some characters that might work well with your defense.

Gray has Elymas (Bar-Jesus) the Sorcerer (also combos well with Tartaros)
Pale Green has Beast from the Sea (warriors) can band to your demons
Gold doesn't really have anything for you except KoT but you're better off with the orange one.
Brown - Foul Spirit is nice but I'm not sure it's better than Complainers
Black offers Simon the Magician who could make WoS can't be negated.
Orange can help you play all those different color enhancements with Deceiving Spirit.

These are a few enhancements that could help:

Love of Money allows you to play any brigade enhancement.
Satan Released will allow you to "resurrect" a demon.
Blast of Fire, Flying Flames and Fireball are fun battle winners you don't see played much.
Midianite Attack goes well with a large PD band.
Spreading Mildew is the most versatile Fort discarder available.
Gathering of Demons could add another demon to your band.
Thorn in the Flesh has the potential to be devestating.

A more reliable defense might focus on one brigade, for example an orange base to go with the Panic Demon theme. You could still splash a few enhancements from other brigades (like Wrath of Stan) to play on your PD in that brigade, Deceiving Spirit or Self to play them. You might try something like this:

One last approach to take, since you have all those sites, is to attempt a site lockout. You could try to work in some of those to take out their access sites:

Wow Gabe...thanks for the incredible insights.

Just some notes when I was going through your suggestions:
-Multi-color enhancements were right on and taking out Pit really does make sense.
-Galba is there to be converted and a 10/1 who discards a card from opponents hand when he comes in will get inish and be annoying.
-Likewise the Tartan was there to convert and I thought his capture a Philistine ability could be fun if I get to use it, but I am considering getting rid of him.
-I think that I am going to go somewhere between going Orange heavy and splashing everything.

Just an update on this deck's success this weekend. In multi-player this deck was actually pretty good, but no one would attack because of the huge banding chain of PDs. As for two-player, this deck went 2-0 which was way better than I expected. I need some tweaks, and I will post what I change here for everyone to review...

The deck is looking really good. I would expect it to perform well in 2P but I'm surprised it worked in MP. Herolite/Heroless style decks are typically fail in that format just because of the nature of MP.

The only thing I still wonder about is Mission Deviation. Is that card really very effective?
