Not many decks from the post-Nats era so here's one that I've been playing with lately... Temple Dedication is the main point behind this deck and it deserves to be played way more.

1   Lost Soul (Jeremiah 22:3) (Orphans)
1   Lost Soul (Hunter)
1   Lost Soul (Remant)
Dominants
1   The Second Coming
1   Son of God (I)
1   Angel of the Lord (Promo 2018)
1   Falling Away
1   Destruction of Nehushtan (PoC)
1   Christian Martyr (J)
1   Three Woes (RoJ)
Neutral
1   The Ends of the Earth (RoJ)
1   Lost Soul (Hopper) (FoM)
1   Endless Treasures
1   Book of the Covenant (PoC)
Fortress
1   The Throne of David
Heroes
1   Prince Jonathan (PoC)
1   David, God's King
1   Melchizedek
1   Esther, the Courageous (PoC)
1   King Saul (CoW)
1   Abigail (RoA)
1   Every Tribe (RoJ)
1   Jeremiah (PoC)
Speed GEs
1   Faith
1   Covenant with David (PoC)
1   Temple Dedication
1   Pentecost
1   Reach of Desperation (H)
Battle GEs
1   Out of Bethlehem
1   Counsel of Abigail (RoA)
1   Eve's Descendant (PoC)
1   Authority of Christ (Promo)
ECs
1   King of Tyrus
1   Demetrius the Silversmith
1   Lot's Wife
1   Proud Pharisee
1   High Priest Ananias (RoJ)
1   The Sanhedrin
1   The Priests of Zeus
1   Outsiders (Black/Gold) (RoJ)
EEs
1   Stone of Thebez (RoA)
1   Seized by Rioters
1   Plot to Kill (RoJ)
1   Seize Him! (RoJ)
1   Joseph in Prison
1   The Wages of Sin (FoM)

Reserve:
1   Rain Becomes Dust
1   You Will Remain
1   Flying Scroll (PoC)
1   Covenant of Prayer (RoJ)
1   Covenant with Adam (PoC)
1   Faith of David (CoW)
1   The Angel of the Winds

1   Paying Taxes

8 heroes definitely seems light, but I couldn't find another purple good enough to run.

First of all you're trying to block. So you might want to fix that. Second, are you absolutely sure you can't play the new Nebuchadnezzar? Seems like a great purple king. Otherwise, I am very tempted to take this build and swap Regrets, Nebuchadnezzar (foil), the deceiver for seize him, the Sanhedrin and proud pharisee, and put Judas in the reserve.  I'm not sold on proud pharisee and seize him I feel like there are two better black cards you could throw in or just more offense.

Proud pharisee is mostly there for a play first Unsuccessful (or even Stone) which is pretty consistent. Regrets is pretty nice though, so maybe I could cut Paying Taxes for it. Nebby is a possibility, but then I might as well go all crimson and if I did that, I wouldn't play the new one anyway...

I think your offense needs paying taxes to to hit RBD or something. I would cut seize him over paying taxes because you can't really rely on it being a battle winner because of it's negatability ( a Redemption word I made up to sound smart). Unless you feel like you're consistently hitting your opponents SoG.....

I see that your offense doesn't use CBN battlewinners and your defense is actually trying to block.  Seems like Coliseum could potentially be a great addition.  Stone of Thebez is really the only card in your deck affected by Coliseum.

I'd recommend trying out some version of the Black/Orange/Gray defense I ran at Nats - see this post.  It's not a big change from where you are now, and Coliseum can simply win you games.

Is adding King Amaziah and Valley of Salt? Amaziah isn't as insane as it used to be, but can still be useful. And Valley is another interrupt battlewinner (and probably better than Out of Bethlehem for the deck)
