+ 2 for Cpt. Jaeger. Combined two orders-saving on shipping. Took only a box cutter to open, but the packing material inside was red hearts tissue paper(left over from Feb 14th,I guess). You learn something new every time you order from this guy. ;D  Thanks!

What are people's thoughts about transferring the information from here into the new system and using that instead? It wouldn't take a ton of time to transfer just the numbers without the comments, so I would be willing to do that, and then people could leave comments with their feedback in the new system moving forward. We could leave this thread and lock it so that it serves as a reference for the feedback that would be in the new system without comments.

Thoughts?

I'm all for it. Side note: Is there a way to condense the current one so a person could type a person's name and read the comments pertaining to that particular person instead of going thru all 48 pages?

Hey Ken,
I like the idea.  A few questions (without research) jumps to my mind though:
            1. Do people's  trade references stay beside their names in PM?
I ask this as a security to those who are newer.  If they are approached by someone by PM, then they should be able to see that person's reputation then and there.
            2. Will it be a feature that will be constantly with the boards?  If it ever goes away, then that could wreak havoc.
            3. Will people remember to maintain it?
Case in point:  With the thread, a person involved in one half of a deal could post therefore moving this thread to the top of the "new threads" list which serves as a reminder to the other party.  With this system, what would serve a reminder to both parties to leave feedback?

Again, I am all for it because I used a similar system a lot with Ebay.  I am just trying to think out of the box to help smooth the transition.  Instead of maintaining a thread once a week (on average), people could get a quick accurate count at any time on the boards especially during the time of working out deals.

Great idea!

Regarding the questions:

Sadness, I don't think so - that's why the individual pages were created for people.

soul seeker, currently the trade references aren't seen when looking at PMs, but I don't know if The Schaef would be able to change that. It sounds like this is something that is now a permanent feature by what he has said, so I don't think #2 is an issue. You would be able to send people a message to remind them to leave feedback for you, just like you can on eBay. I don't know whether they would be more or likely to than with this thread, but it probably depends on the person!

I will see what I have going on the rest of this week and next week, and maybe I can find time to do it. Since we just got back from Iowa last night (thanks for the great time, everyone else who was there!), I don't know my schedule at all...

I will update the new trader system with the references that are here. However, I can't add them to myself, so mine will just be lower or someone else can. :)

You just click on the person's name to see their profile, click on the number that is their trade count, and then click "Submit feedback for..." on the left side. The default is that you are the buyer, so if you want to change that, you can.

If you are already in the Redemption Market, you can simply click their trade count next to their name is a post to save a step.

I will NOT be updating the new system from this point forward, so I would strongly encourage everyone to use the new system to submit feedback on trades. :)

Let me know if you have any questions!
Ken
