Hi there,

just wanted to know what you would be in favour for.

I got the chance to either buy several boosters (from Priests, Angel Wars, Prophets, Kings) or expansions (from TEC, PEC, COW).
But since shipping costs depend on weight buying boosters would provide me roundabout 110 cards whereas expansions would hit with ca. 90 cards (if I calculated correctly).
So what would be your choice? More cards or getting the chance of some newer ones from the expansions where within also always cards from the previous sets are contained (in this case also cards from Priests, Angel Wars, Prophets, Kings are contained inside the expansions)?

Independently from this question would you suggest bying expansions/boosters from same set or from different ones - and why?

Thanx in advance!

Bye

It really depends on what cards you need. IMO, Early Church is the best overall value because you get 5 TEC cards, plus cards from FooF/RoA and you also have the chance at getting one of the two big $ cards (Shipwreck).

However, if you already have a lot of TEC cards, CoW is the next best set because its URs are all highly valuable and most of the rares are awesome.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Currently I need to strengthen my offense abilities. The really weird thing is that shipping costs put upside-down the pricing scheme: According to Cactus Website boosters costs $3,- each and expansions $4,-/$5,- each making the price per card cheaper for the expansions which already have the advantage to provide the new cards including the ones from Warriors, Kings, Priests, Apostles, Angel Wars.
When shipping costs comes into the picture price per card is cheaper for boosters due to weight. Weird if you ask me.

FYI, Cactus offers free shipping if your order is over $40.

I know but not abroad IIRC (which is completely understandable). A few years back then I talked about this topic with Rob. In addition I want to keep the product values of such purchases below the customs fee relevant amount (which is currently $25,- from the US to Germany if I checked correctly).
