I've been thinking, and I feel like it would be a lot better to have a rating system (1/10) than a +/- 1 system. After a while, + X doesn't mean anything more than how many trades you've made. Sure, you can look at comments people have made for more detail, but those don't usually say much more. "Good trader" carries about as much weight as "+ 1".

Maybe it wouldn't make a big difference, but I just feel like the "+ X" next to every player's profile is just a distraction from quality to quantity.

That's actually probabaly a decent point, but I think it has something to do with what the system is capable of.

The original system (SoulSeeker's) would have been able to implement this. I do think that the new system is oversimplified. I could trade 10x's with minor cards, and then "forget" to send my KoT, and end up with a "+9" next to my name.

I personally find no problem with the system. eBay is the precedent here which implements the same basic system, be it a candy bar or a Ferrari. They do use detailed seller ratings which are essentially the ratings system suggested here, but + 1 and feedback comments have been the standard which work perfectly fine IMO.

I absolutely agree with all of this. Consequently, I would like to see something ebay-ish implemented where you can view "recent feedback" on someone's profile page, however, I have a feeling that would be difficult for the guys to whip up

I thought that happened a long time ago! It's very discouraging to hear it hasn't yet been resolved

"Unacceptable" is the word that comes to my mind. Why have Moderators not gotten involved in this? Do we accept stealing on the Message Boards now?

I also thought this was resolved a long time ago. I'll see RDT at nats, and will talk to him about it then if I don't talk to him before that (or if it doesn't get resolved by then).

i also bought a don from rdt a year ago and still havent seen it. its an oversaturated card now anyways, so i just let it go. $100 smackers...not something easy to let go.

Didn't I give it to you at NC Regionals last year? I'm 98% certain that I did. If you truly don't remember getting it from me then, talk to me at natz, I have at least 3 extra.

Also, Kittens, I've sent twice and I can show you Post office receipts at natz if you'd like. I'd love to be able to just give you the $100 at natz and call it done, but I don't have that kind of money right now.

well hold on, if rdt has post office receipts showing proof that they were sent out (twice at that), then that changes a whole lot.

rdt, i remember you reminding me before nc regionals last year that you would give it to me after the tournament, but i never got it. its all good, plenty of don's to go around freely nowadays anyways.
