I'm not sure if this is the correct location to post this, but:
Last night I was discussing cameras and photography with a friend of mine on Facebook (That I know in person of course). I wanted to give her an example of some of the work that I, as well as the De La Rosa Twins, have done with my camera. Without even explaining what I was showing her, I used a video that I had made from photos taken at Florida States last year. Not even 10 seconds into the video, she just up and said "I want to play. Where can I buy these?" It caught me off guard because I had never mentioned Redemption (Sorry ;P ) and we usually have to ask people a few times to gain their interest. It was an honest blessing to see the fruits of the Twins' and my labor blossom like that, ready for Harvest.
I know that the Twins have invested a lot of time into promoting Redemption here in South Florida and have tried to gain as much exposure in our communities as possible, so seeing their ideas come to fruition with my friend shows that it's paying off. They are always so willing to keep contacting people to get them to come and play with us, and even offering free starters and boosters to new players, but it doesn't always work out. However, they brought me into Redemption and got me started with free stuff, and in so doing, we now have the possibility of an eager new player because of their persistence with me. After I started playing and I had told them about it, they were excited that I had a really nice camera and that I had offered it's use for promoting our playgroup, and now, nearly a year later, it has led to my friend learning about Redemption.
I'm really glad that I've had the opportunity to participate in this wonderful experience.
