I have been involved with playing redemption for at least 5 or more years , but really got into the game when the Early Church set was just coming out.Several years ago I had been introduced to a friendly playgroup in Canada who play only Type 2 games ( main members of the group being Kor , Christiansoldier , Locutus and a few other people) and really have enjoyed playing type 2 games with them every few weeks throughout every year.We would also host tournaments every few months as well in our playgroup. My family and I have came out to the United States to join the 2016 and 2017 Nationals tournaments and all of the Type 2 only tournaments in Minnesota as well.I have very fond memories of meeting Rob Anderson for the very first time , meeting the members of the Minnesota playgroup , Everytribe from the forums and the rest of the people who play redemption in the United States. I have had loads of fun over the years with custom building all kinds of Type 2 decks and strategies that are not very easy to create with Type 1 decks and rules. The redemption cards has taught me a whole lot more about the bible then , I could have ever known.I would like to thank everyone who has ever traded cards with me through the forums and in person for making it possible for me to acquire all the specific cards I have needed from each set that are not readily available in Canada.Often it would be hard for most people on the forums to consider shipping their cards to Canada and it would often cost them more to ship.I would like to give a big thanks to Locutus , for his effort in hosting tournaments and all the redemption nights he has hosted for all these years for our playgroup.I would like to give a HUGE! thanks to Everytribe , for his kindness , friendliness and generosity for all those times my family and I have gone to tournaments in the United States.Thank you all for a very extraordinary and life changing experience I have had playing the game of redemption.
