Stepping Down/Leaving Game (What God has done)
« on: January 04, 2011, 11:01:59 PM »
Hey guys. I regret to say I sold most of my collection today. Just waiting on a payment then I will ship. I decided to do this because the main people I play with are all graduating college and moving, and my friend who plays it shows little interest now. So i sold all my cards but my main deck. I love redemption, so I'm keeping my main deck which i could sell to get about as much money as I got for the rest of my cards.

Now, for what I gained. I learned about many Bible characters prior to finding their stories/verses,  and it helped me to understand better when I read about them

Redemption encouraged me to gain more random Bible Knowledge

It also helped me befriend some people from Central Christian College of the Bible I might not have otherwise befriended.

It taught me economics and how to trade and sell based on value, market demand, and rarity.

It gave me all you guys as friends(or atleast aquaintances)

Taught me strategy and thinking. Also improved my idea of how luck plays a role in lots of things.

So thanks for reading this and I hope you all continue to be blessed by Redemption as I have been. I hope the cards I sell will be a blessing to those who bought them from me, just as they blessed me.

Also, please pray for my music as I feel like that is the area where God is calling me now.

In Christ,
Adam

I'm glad to hear how God has used Redemption in your life.  And remember, even if no one around you plays, you can still stay involved with the game by playing online :)

Theres always RTS if you want to continue playing occasional fun games, or just build decks (which can be pretty fun in its own right).

This is pretty much all I do. I have a fair collection myself, but nobody around me plays, so I stopped collecting them.

Adam, you will be missed during this 'hiatus' ;) --  ;D.

Well, please make sure to keep a starter deck in your bag/car all the time.  It's for paying forward when the need and time comes --- to teach the next blessed soul!

Peace and blessings, brother!
