Women as Snares playability?

So I've been looking at the complete decks which have been posted recently and noticed that Women as Snares is nowhere to be found.  I am wondering why this card is not being used more.  I have not played in a very long time but I remember it being one of my go to cards.  Any reason why it doesn't seem to be as effective anymore?
May you prosper greatly!

I’ve used her and will continue to as the deck design permits. I’d probably put her in the reserve, however, to pull her out at the right time to maximize her ability.

I nearly included her in my T22P deck, but I ended up going with Assyrian unity.

The fact that she's from a time before CBN/I means that the prevalence of Woes and her mid-tier numbers hurt her significantly. She's great when she goes off, but it's increasingly more difficult to get that value from her.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

I remember the exact time I last used WaS. 2014 Nats...I was facing Jordan's Panic Demons deck and in a desperate effort to make a comeback, I blocked his Samuel with WaS to capture all his demons...and then proceeded to use AotL to avoid having Samuel's Edict used...

Had I been able to pull that off earlier in the game I might have had a chance, but by that time it was too late...

Yes, but you should get a turn off WaS to capitalize.

I think WaS is still very playable. I think a number of plays from "the old days" are vastly underrated ATM. Et+AoC and Transfiguration come to mind. Also, a number of more powerful splashy cards today are underplayed such as Jepthath's Daughter and Every Tribe.

Honestly I use either sins forgotten or DoU on her so they sometimes don’t have a have a chance to negate her

I think the only case in which it would really see use in T1 is in the Reserve of a pale green deck. It's a very situationally powerful card that I don't think makes the cut because of how unlikely it is that your opponent has enough defense on the table to make it worth it. However, I guess I could see it coming back into the meta as more TC characters like Bab Merchants and Priest of Zeus are made.

Are there any other cards that make turn a non-CBN/I/P character into CBN/I/P?

The Humble soul can make all of your characters CBP. Some abilities can make certain other characters CBX (Foretelling Angel conditionally makes Daniel characters CBN, Noah's Wife makes Flood Survivors CBP, Pharoah's Daughter makes Exodus characters of the same alignment CBP). I think Overtaken is the only one that can make any character CBN, and for that you need your opponent to cooperate. There are a few cards that makes certain abilities CBX - in theory if you could F deck Esau to make capture abilties CBN, then Rage into WaS.

Uses Rage as an example instead of Unified Language or Lurking... Nice.

There are several.  Many of them require some finagling to get Women As Snares in battle though.

Like, block with King Rezin (PoC), play Lurking, band to Women As Snares.

That’s so opponent doesn’t get a D7 if they have Hannah or Mighty Men.

I'm thinking he did that because I know old cards, not new cards.  (I had to look up Unified Language)
