I have never built a good one or run very well but I believe the idea is having a huge defense to hopefully lock an opponent out permanently. Then you would run Saul/Paul.
Eventually you use Holy Grail or something like that to convert Saul to Paul.
This kind of deck usually runs herod's Temple to instead discarding Paul and Obadiah's Caves to stop Paul from being captured or removed. Then you might use Hidden Treasures for several preblock ignores or AoCP. Basically any good enhancement you want to use.

In other words, when your opponent thinks you have no heroes, you suddenly blast him at the end after he has discarded all of his defensive stuff.
