For evil Wandering Spirit will stop them from using it on demons (or is it only orange demons), well it will put the demon beneath the deck, but since it didn't discard it the shuffle won't happen.Alternatively on the defense you could use combos that don't let your opponent play dominants (like 2khorses into Forgotten History). On the offense you can also try pre battle ignore (stopping evil cards from entering battle) as well as Wheel Within a Wheel.Really my recommendation is just to take the Grapes like man rather than diluting your deck to try and get around it.
Grapes is so tasty. It just won me a rescue attempt against Magician's Snakes. ^_^
Actually it's legal. Snakes has a while in battle clause.
Colon now means 'while in battle'?
Hating the Light (Di)Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Multicolor • Ability: None • Class: Territory • Special Ability: Place on your human Evil Character: This Evil Character cannot be ignored and is protected from capture, conversion, and shuffle. • Play As: Place on your human Evil Character: This Evil Character cannot be ignored. Protect this Evil Character from capture, conversion, and shuffle. • Identifiers: None • Verse: John 3:20 • Availability: Disciples booster packs ()
My explanation was more correct. It's not just "while placed," but "while placed (on X)." I forget what the pertinent example is, but say a card said, "Place on a Hero: Protect character from Discard," it would not function if he were converted to an EC because it's no longer placed on a Hero.
