Hey guys I know this forum or its videos haven't been up in a while but I would like to start kickstarting something like this again. In the links below I have some videos of just redemption play and commentary varying from deckbuilding, to a live game, to just looking at decks. Send me a PM of ideas for videos, if you would want to face me or a deck or type of play I sould do a video on that you would like to see.

Hey guys with the excitement of the new set maybe coming soon in spoiler form lots of people have been making new cards and posting them out on the boards!!! With this in mind I made a video that talks about the newest card ideas coming out on the boards and how we should progress. KingLeo- nice job on these videos! I'm enjoying them and just like Land of Redemption has been doing, I think it's great to bring the community aspect of Redemption more to life!

Chris, these videos are excellent! I love how your inspired and just sharing with the community what excites you about Redemption!

I hope you don't mind but I split this off into it's own topic. It was buried hundreds of post deep in the RMG thread. I want people to easily find this.

**For those that don't know, Chris placed top 3 at Nationals in T1-2P last year. He's the highest placing player that is not a Redemption elder. That and his years of experience make him an absolute authority on these topics. Dig in and learn from him!

Thank you Gabe I truly appreciate all of that! I have to give shout out to Connor Magras my best friend who is ConMagraw on the boards. I think he would be the highest ranking if he didn't get unlucky in his last games right before the top eight.

Hey everyone I know that I have been posting videos lately daily but due to some sickness that has been hurting my voice today and yesterday I will have not made any videos. I will get one out by tomorrow no worries. Friday and Saturday I will be going to the 11th annual T2 tourney to get stomped on. However! I will make some just fun live cam videos of the festivities and craziness there. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up! By Sunday and Monday I will post videos that will be more information and dealing with card play itself. Till then I encourage you guys to check out the last two videos being The Card of the Week! and the second part of Deck Building 101! (Links are in previous posts) I know not as many people have got a chance to check them out and I think you should!

Hey guys I am back!! I'm am sorry for my month break but I have been sick for three of those weeks and doing as much school as possible. I want to thank you guys for your awesome support even when I have been gone. I see that my views on my videos have tripled or more and I can't thank you enough for your support. I will not promise consistent videos but please every week keep a look out for one and I will do my best to keep up or go beyond that.

Another update!!! This Saturday me and Jay Chambers are going to have an awesome discussion about Redemption and maybe what it means to be competitive in redemption and why should we be competitive. So look for that Saturday after noon. Once again thank you for the wait and you all are the best ever.

***Edit - just watched the swords and intro of the decks. A few points of clarification:

Every Man's Sword discards a multi-brigade evil card, not any evil card. Fortresses like the ones mentioned do not have brigades (thus are not targetable) even though they use the "every brigade" icon to show the alignment.
The Nats special release CotH is a reprint of the WA version using the official errata so it does not have the warrior class icon and it does negate weapons.
The decks seem like a toss up to me but I'll go with the Genesis one.

Now, let's go watch to see which deck wins!

Interesting outcome in that game! I liked how the counters were in place to allow one of the decks to dominate the other!

If I understand correctly it looks like Joseph Before Pharaoh was used to negate a character in territory and capture a guy in battle as if it works like Samuel's Edict. I think it negates and captures the same card.

I also think I saw "Today" convert a Pharaoh when used as TC but it only converts in battle.

Not that I've ever misplayed a card on video... *cough* Jael's Nail on Lions *cough*

Assuming those plays happened as I thought, I don't think either determined the outcome of the game. Thanks so much for doing these!!

Absolutely amazing video, Chris!!!

I like that you picked out a couple overlooked cards. As the newness of BoM and Throne wears off and other strong decks start to make an appearance I think we'll see some of those become staples in the meta.
