Who makes the cut on "warrior-class"

Basically, why do we have certain heroes and ECs who fought in battles but are not warrior class?  Most notable is Abram in Genesis 14.  But there are others.

Is it primarily because before Kings came out Warrior class did not exist?  For example, most of the judges, Cornelius (a centurion), etc.

Next question, What was the reasoning behind making warrior class demons - Morg, Admiral, Morgan?  Are there demons mentioned in scripture wielding weapons?

Lastly, here are some that I just don't understand.
Hiram - Warrior class but what battle did he fight in?

Nehemiah - warrior class I assume because he equipped a sword but never actually had to use it?  By this token I guess Peter, who actually DID use a sword, should be warrior class too?

Levi is warrior class, I assume because of what he and Simeon did to the Shechemites, but Simeon is not?

And finally, Saint of Virtue and Soldier of God?  Aren't these NT characters merely fighting spiritual battles, as we all are?  By what bible passage should they be allowed to wield a physical weapon that all other heroes can't?

Thanks for helping me understand these apparent inconsistencies :)

Yes. In your example, Abram came out in Patriarchs, before Kings came out

It's because of Angel Wars, where the demons did wield weapons. Also, it isn't inconceivable that demons wield the same kind of weapons that Angels do. It's just that Demons didn't have their own brigade when AW came out, so that's why Admiral can hold Abner's Spear for example. But the WC enhancements from AW are pretty much only usable by the AW WC demons, which is what was intended. If AW were made today, then we might have Orange WC Characters and weapons.

He was the King of a Nation with an Army, and thus would have been the commander of that Army. A lot of the Israelite/Judean Kings have no evidence of fighting in battles either, but they commanded their armies, and thus likely would have been able to wield a weapon.

I would assume so as well, and it's possible that Peter would be WC if he is reprinted.

That's just probably something the playtesters missed when they first made Simeon in FooF, but then corrected with Levi in RoA.

Saint of Virtue is not WC, and Soldier of God was probably just made that way to have an NT human WC; kind of like how Priests of Christ are identified as Priests, despite not performing Priestly rituals.

Sorry, I was looking at a spreadsheet that listed Saint of Virtue as WC, which apparently he is not.  You're probably right on Soldier of God.  Thanks.

I would hope that they keep a checklist to run through on every card they make.  Less cards would be missed.   :-\
