T2 combo from new set

Opponent attacks you, you have Protection of Jerusalem in your territory.  Block with Assyrian Archer x5, band to Rabsaris, band to another Assyrian holding 2kh, play Death of Unrighteous.  Rescue attempt is  blocked CBI-style, and you get to negate and discard 7 evil cards from opponent's territory with Protection of Jerusalem.

Actually, you get to discard 5 heroes, negate and discard 7 evil cards, and shuffle all your lost souls in.

And you only lose half your defense!

Well, this is after you've used it with Forgotten History.

Question: If you brought 5 archers + 2k horses into battle and played grapes, would you get to discard 5 heroes and shuffle your archers?

I see no reason why not. Discard 2kh or some enhancement you play off 2kh with grapes, and all your archers would be shuffled.

Yep. Or you could play Forgotten History to save all your archers.

And why would forgotten history work?

End the battle abilities don't allow interrupted abilities to reactivate. So 2kH interrupts the pending discard and ends the battle.

To further clarify, 2kH interrupts all of your ongoing abilities, but not your instant ones. Hence, you can discard their characters, and the battle is over before your ongoing self-discard triggers.

Yep. Or you could play Forgotten History to save all your archers.

But that's not a new combo at all, jmhartz was trying to incorporate the new silver territory class card with his own Assyrians...

could you have multiple copies of prtection of J in your territory and trigger them all, making it so you discard 14, 21, 28, or 35 evil cards depending on how may copies you have up?

Nope. It's limited to one per territory.
