I found an interesting type 2 combo last year. I decided not to play it in any tournaments though because it was impractical and needed too many cards to win, essentially it was much more effective to play a regular defense. But I thought I would share it because it was fun to play when it got set up. Idk if this has been posted before or not.
Basically all you need is
- 2x Evil Spawn and 1x Demon Behind in KoTW
- Another Demon Behind the idol that is free to block
- 1x Pride in the Flesh in your hand 1x Pride in the Flesh in your discard pile
- 1x Worshipping demon's in your discard pile
1. Block with DMI and Place worshiping demon's on the bottom of your deck.
2. Play Pride in the Flesh from your hand to band in 2x Evil spawn and 1x DBI from KOTW.
3. Use DBI #2's text to search your discard pile for Pride in the flesh and place it beneath deck.
4. Use the first evil spawn to take Pride in the Flesh from the bottom of your deck and put it in your hand so that you can play it next time.
5. Use the second evil spawn to play worshipping demon's from the bottom of your deck and end the battle.
The end result is one pride in the flesh in your d/c, one in your hand, and a worshipping demon in your d/c. All you have to do next turn is load up KOTW again and you are ready to go on your opponents next rescue.
Other cards that are helpful are HHI, HOH, and wandering spirit for numbers.
