Title: Shooting Arrows at a Helicopter?
Post by: Minister Polarius on July 04, 2009, 01:31:15 AM
RA some LS, block Archers chain, make a mess of the territory, Grapes of Wrath, w00t.

I'm sure there is something more refined and dangerous that can be done here, but this is just the first thought that jumped into my head.

This is similar to the idea of an archer chain banded to a Rabshakeh + 2kH + Forgotten History. In fact, that's even better, but now perhaps Archer decks will become more common (in T2 at least).

RA some LS...
Wait, why would you want your opponent to be able to make another rescue?

He is saying his opponent makes a RA and he destroys their territory without losing his archers.

Why would he want to rescue souls first though?

Let me change the wording of his post: "My opponent attempts a rescue, I block with an Archers banding chain, use their abilities to get rid of a ton of guys in my opponent's territory, then use GoW to shuffle all cards in battle but one Archer back into deck, w00t."

I hope that clears it up. :)

each archer bands to another.

can someone explain to me how you band in archers?

I think this in reference to Type II, where you can have 5 Egyptian Archers that all band to each other since they are all Egyptian. In Type I, this strategy would be more limited. You could use Archers of Kedar with any of the civilization-specific archers.

Someone doesn't play Type 2.

i can talk you know. funny how that works out is'nt it? here it is again NO I NEVER PLAYED T2.

You can't read. I am not talking about you in my first post, hence I quoted BB to make that painfully obvious.

Yes, because your following post in response to mine saying you had never played T2 is unnecessary because teh query is not being directed towards you. This is the kind of useless posting that people cite as trolling and that makes people think you a noob(negative meaning of course).

I prefer creating clutter in this thread to point out problems and prevent clutter on an infinate number of future threads.

Well apparently a Yiddish word that begins with "schm" is a bad word in New York. The editor misunderstood my intent or it would have said "Hero" instead of "LS." Sorry for the confusion.

It's a public forum.  People can respond if they want.

Prevent clutter: stop arguing about it.
