Thought I'd share just for fun:
So last night while running a Sam deck, I used Stalks of Flax to give my Red-using opponent a Gideon and Samson for his Centurions. 1 turn later my only way of getting access was with Angel with the Secret Name and Samson... so I martyred my Samson (poor Samson), attacked with AwtSN, put Samson into battle...
...then my opponent martyred him...
From Epic to Epic fail in 5 seconds flat. If only I still had Birth Foretold :)

Samson is unnecessary in a Sam deck ;).

It's not below my level to throw dead salmon at opponents... though live ones can be trained better... but I digress :P
I've tried pulling them out, but I end up using AwtSN + Samson almost every game. I use Birth Foretold for SoG and then I make an RA with AutO or AwtSN to Samson. Or, if Nazzy is keeping me from getting SoG, I can AwtSN to Samuel and then BF after the rescue. With AwtSN my Deborah's Directive becomes a CBN invitation to Archer+TSA and Aaron+Moses...
Cutting Samson out of my deck would make sad ::)

Wait, I'm pretty sure that you cannot do AwtSN to Samson and then play BF after the rescue, because you would have to play BF in the discard phase, and I think the negation of Nazareth only applies to the battle phase.
