I vote no on ninjas, because then we're going to have to have pirates, and then I'll be blocking Joshua the Priest with Captain Blackbeard, and terrible terrible things will happen.

I liked the idea of having cards that temporarily grant a character an Identifier, I think it was Archangel? that posted the idea.

Also, it might just be me, but I'd like to see more luke/john stuff. :O

We most definitely should have ninja cards, they're in the Bible.
Jesus the Ninja
Discard 1/4 of the evil characters in a territory (rounding down). At any time this battle, you may interrupt the battle and withdraw. Cannot be Negated.
"At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds." John 8:59

Don't ask me about numbers, brigade or an illustration, because if you saw him, you'd be seconds away from dying.

Now you know we are all waiting for an illustration now right? I know I want to see it.

Pirates are totally cooler. sure, ninjas would win in a fight, sure, but pirates don't need stealth. they announce their arrival with cannons and destroy everything. Zombie pirates are the most awesome...

I agree with what was previously posted that I wish red had a way to stay true to the original warrior theme by including a straight FBTN character and a FBTN/banding character like COTH to make it's banding a beast. Red needs a way to be more competitive without splashing other colors. The recent expansions are on the right track with this. It has become better, but still is not as powerful a choice as the other major offensive archetypes. I love the deck discard red has, and more with this would be fun.

I wish older 'vanilla'--(no special ability) cards had a way to see more play in constructed events. Cards like windows of narrow light are steps in the right direction for this.

I wish any reprints would be made out of vanilla cards. I prefer brand new cards, but it seems like reprints are a part of the deal. Cards reprinted like 'search' surprised me since the original card was very powerful already. The reprint for "image of jealousy" was perfect, turning a vanilla card into a powerhouse.

I wish there was more deck discard.

I wish there were more ways to destroy doms---something like wickedness removed (love that card) that only searches for 4 doms out of the deck and discards them.

I wish orange had another off-the-wall battlewinner.

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas!  :)

I do appreciate all the efforts Cactus and the playtesters have done and am very happy with how Redemption has raised the bar in the last several expansions (since priests).

Edward Cullen vs Captain Jack Sparrow. I think we know who wins.

ONLY 4 doms?

another thought that just struck me, we need a card that can add counters to cards in play/set-aside. it would be pretty versatile, i think: you could use it for yourself and your gathering, witnesses to creation, or provisions are able to come back faster, and it can also be used against the opponent on an artifact/curse that uses counters, like holy grail or captured ark.

Oooh cool idea! And maybe an evil character that has the ability: "select one character in a set-aside area. He comes back two turns later than he is already supposed to." The wording would be different but you get the idea.

Yeah I mean we all hate provisions and the set asides that draw... your opponent uses first fruits and then you make a side battle with that evil character so he has no heroes for 2 turns... I think this card could be used in very cool ways.

I wish that the Persians would get a bit more.  Not a ton but just enough to make them even better as an emergency auxiliary group.

i think persians should expand on the set-aside theme, they already have a good share of cards that support that. and this counter idea would blend in beautifully with them. set-aside manipulation, i like it. :)

I'm totally loving that idea with set-aside manipulation, and it would be awesome for Persians to own it as their theme, seeing as they already have a strategy in setting aside and abusing such.

It was actually your idea for set aside manipulating cards (which I really, really like) that made me think of Persians. I didn't mention it simply because I think Persians should get a boost even if the PtB decide against adding a new category of SA.

Speaking of set aside manipulation, what about a Persian with an SA that reads "You may exchange a hero in battle with an opponent's hero currently in set aside or band to a Persian."
