Cactus Game Design Message Boards

This is a pretty cool combo I found after looking through some of my cards one day.

Objective:

Discard your opponent's deck and clear their territory during one rescue attemp.

Cards needed:
2 Generic Demons
Que
Cubus
Confusion
Momentum Change
Twice Afflicted
Banishment
Love of Money/Mask of Worldiness/Moral decline
Tartaros
One of every color site in deck
Land Purchase
Asherah Pole
Threatened Lives
False Peace/Gates of Hell

Okay so basically what you need to do is make sure you have Asherah Pole up (make sure they ra with an ot hero, other wise choose big ot hero to attack with like lies or sarah's jealousy), control Que and Cubus, have a site in deck of the rescuers color, and site guard lost soul in territory or deck.GoH and Tartaros are also neccessary. When they rescue block with Que, if they haven't forfeited by now reveal your hand to protect Que from being removed from the game. Play Love of Money which allows you to play any brigade, so drop Confusion, (play False Peace if you need to get out the lost soul) and  Land Purchase. With Land Purchase get a single color site of the rescuers color from deck and place the site guard soul in the site to put Cubus from hand/Tartaros on the site. Then drop Banishment to send Que to tartaros and the enhancements to your hand. Next bring Cubus into batte with the ls's text. Play Love of Money, then drop Twice Afflicted (to get back Momentum Change), Confusion, and Threatened Lives. With TL place the site guard lost soul and site under deck with the lost soul on bottom. Gates (Note False Peace works just as well) the soul out then play Land Purchase to get the site you just placed beneath deck and put the site guard in it. After you have reloaded the site with a generic demon play Banishment to send Cubus to Tartaros and all enhancements to your hand (except Momentum Change). Add the generic demon to the battle. Lather, Rinse, Repeat with a pair of generic demons until you have discarded their entire deck. If you want, you can  use Great Image and Syrian Victory+Another Banishment to clear their territory and  Fearfulness+I Am Holy to hit their hand. Then, walk in for 5 free souls with solo Gad.
Make sure you buy a lottery ticket afterwards.

Why does the deck need Que and Cubus?

How else are you going to ensure that your demons aren't captured since you can use Cubus to search for Spiritual Realm? And, more importantly, what if your opponent has Freedom! and wants to remove your blocker from the game??? All you need to do is reveal your hand, and voila, Que is protected!

What a silly question. Sheesh.

Props on finding such a rockin' combo! I really like it.

It's a shame I don't think it works for T2 since once you place the soul beneath deck they aren't making a rescue attempt any more and so you can't trigger a 2nd round of using the Site Guard LS.
