I'm obviously not talking to that group. If you haven't seen the set you shouldn't be voting E.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I have to say.... option E really makes no sense whatsoever. If anything, sitelock is gonna die a brutal death when the next one comes out. O_o

well lets see. a previously and COMPLETELY unchecked anti-site card with no counters WHATSOEVER now receives hard counters. this doesnt make sense to you? this doesnt make sitelock at the very least 'viable' again? ooooook.

What hard counters? Those don't exsist in ccgs. Pol is right, don't vote e if you haven't seen the set.

From the rumors we've heard, something's hitting FB.  So that would make Site Lock more viable.

falling away: hard counter. goys: hard counter. destruction of nehushtan: hard counter. holy of holies: hard counter. fishing boat: hard counter. yes, there absolutely are hard counters (as well as soft counters) in ccg's.

That was a poor use of sarcasm by me, I meant to disagree with you and say boat isn't getting hard counters.

Maybe ya all can clear something up.  Thad is the fear of most.  In order for them to have access, they have to spend two battle phases with a somewhat weaker Thad.  Also, if Naz is out, they would not get a chance to get the deciple out from bottom as quickly.  Also, to have constant site access (I.e. every turn), you would have to put multiple deciples into FB, which weakens Thad even more.  That all sounds good to me.  What am I missing?

Disciples can use more than Thad to attack.  Phil/Bart is potent in T1, and doesn't require support.

alot of players agree phil/bart will get you more rescues than thad does, especially since they're good early game.

also, the entire concept of sitelock is to make it so they can never access the souls. Fishing boat means that they will always have the ability to gain access, and you cant really do much about it.

Use green david and ht to play Unity in Christ to band in et and centurion at capernam and then play visions to use them in a side battle.

Also ittai and some green weapon and anb maybe.
Fixed to make it possible with fewer cards than the Prof's example  :P

Site lock as a LOCK is not viable, but using sites as a stall strategy is very viable.  Sites can easily give you several turns to set up your defense and offense.

IF you can confusion out an opponents fishing boat than a well built site lock does still have a chance of locking out ANY deck.

After PA states, I want to change my vote.  Site lock is possible if you're prepared for disciples.

There's no way to lock disciples with sites, therefore sitelock is dead. Having a normal defense with a side of sitelock is different.
