Everyone knows about the Philosophy/Zimri combo or the Philosophy/Enchanters combo, but here's a new one I like better.Gather ET. RA ET, play something if you want, grab Philosophy, band to Lemuel, and exchange Philosophy with any O.T. Good Enhancement. If you have TToD out, this is basically win unless you are blocked by someone holding a weapon, as you can play Testing Solomon's Wisdom every turn. Combine this with a hand-thinning defense and you're even more in luck.
...You play Gathering of Angels on him?
Hey,This issue was discussed by TPTB in July and actually did come up at nationals (I remember making a ruling on it during booster draft). The ruling on the issue was:"Hero" means "this Hero" when it is the subject of the sentence and "Hero" means "a Hero" when it is the direct object of the sentence. So when Provisions says "Set hero aside" the subject is an understood you, the verb is set and "hero" is the direct object. Which means "Set hero aside" on Provisions is played as "Set a Hero aside" and thus functions the same as Ambush.Tschow,Tim "Sir Nobody" Maly, WildCard Secretary of Defesnewww.freewebs.com/redemptionne
